If you’ve been noticing that your hair is becoming frizzy, dull, breaking, or more prone to split ends, these could all be signs that your locks are in need of some serious moisture.
You may want to reach for the glowing makeup products , but faking a youthful complexion all comes down to the skincare regime that you follow.
Many experts will tell you that ingredients like retinol and acids are great for improving the tone, texture, and quality of your complexion.
Known as a beta hydroxy acid, salicylic acid is one of the most popular acne-fighting ingredients.
The growth in popularity of skin, hair and makeup products is putting unprecedented pressure on beauty brands trying to keep up in an already-saturated market.
All the marketing speak and clean myths can be hard to understand, so in this article, we’ll be debunking clean beauty and whether these products really are better than anything else you can buy on the market.
Situated in an 80,000 square-foot facility in Corona, California, Adonis Manufacturing’s chemists and technicians have been formulating some of the best-selling skincare products for over 50 years.
Everyone’s skin changes when the weather gets warmer, and it’s important to tailor your skincare arsenal accordingly to keep up with the times.
Ever since the pandemic, the skincare industry has been booming. Beauty consumers are now far more concerned with targeting their skin concerns than they are finding the perfect foundation formula.
Creating your own skincare product is one of the most exciting parts of launching your brand.
It’s your chance to create your ideal formula and bring your skincare dreams into reality.
Even if you’ve been a fan of skincare for years and think you know the industry like the back of your hand, you’d be surprised at the number of things you don’t know.
It’s important to always be researching products, new ingredients, customer trends and the industry itself to ensure your products are the best they can be.
We’ve all been told from a young age about the importance of eating enough fruit and vegetables, not only will they keep you healthy but they’ll also make a huge difference in your skin.
Fruit and vegetables contain the essential antioxidants, vitamins and nutrients that our skin needs to be protected from free radicals and to encourage healthy cell development.
Whether you wanted to get fitter, eat healthier, or improve your skincare routine (like us!) you still have plenty of time to get into the habit if you haven’t been able to make it stick yet.
This year our goal was to improve our skincare routine and have happier skin.
With being in and out of lockdowns for most of the past two years, our makeup routine got a bit stale. We got used to using the same products, and the same everyday makeup – so much so that makeup didn’t even seem fun anymore.
But this year, things are going to be different. Now that we’re out and about more, we can play around with makeup, experiment with products, and improve our routines.
For those people who want a heavy-duty ingredient to help battle pigmentation, tranexamic acid has become increasingly popular. Mostly finding use in overnight serums and masks, this ingredient is a derivative of lysine, that has been found to be extremely effective as brightening the skin and clearing up acne scars and pigmentation after prolonged use.
Double-cleansing should be an important part of any skincare routine — especially if you’re someone who wears makeup on a daily basis.
Some people choose to use the same cleanser twice, to give their skin a deep clean and remove any unwanted skincare, pollution or dirt from their face that has built up throughout the day.
Slugging is where you coat your face in a layer of petrolatum or Vaseline after completing your skincare routine in the evening.
The purpose is to create a protective layer over all the skincare products you’ve just used, but it also helps to lock in any moisture – making it so perfect for those of us who suffer from super dry skin.
Even though the global supply chain is not as stable as it could be, having your products manufactured in the same country you operate in significantly reduces your risk of disruption.
