Administrative Instruction for Commander MARSEC COMMAND / MSTF Change of Command Ceremony

Introduction

1. RSS Bedok will be organising the Change of Command ceremony for Commander Maritime Security Command (MARSEC) / Maritime Security Task Force (MSTF). It will be held on 30 Jan 2024 (Tuesday) at Tuas Naval Base (TNB) auditorium, between 0900hrs to 1030hrs.

Programme

2. The detailed programme is shown in Table 1.

Entry Information

3. Entry into TNB. Entry into TNB will be via TNB guardhouse. Invited guests will be whitelisted to facilitate smooth entry into TNB. Kindly follow the signboards put up to the designated carparks. Kindly use CARPARK C and PARADE SQUARE for parking. Location of carpark shown in Figure 1.

4. Rush hour traffic. Due to high volume of traffic entering TNB in the morning, motorists should plan their journey to accommodate for the rush hour traffic.

5. Car label. To facilitate entry into TNB, invited guests are to display car label on vehicle dashboard or show e-label on their mobile phone. Car label shown in Figure 2.

Ceremony

6. Oath Taking. All guests are required to stand at attention during the Oath Taking.

7. Dress code. All uniformed personnel are to be in No.3 or smart No.4. No head dress is required. DXOs and civilian guests are to be in smart casual attire.

8. Sitting arrangement. All guests are to follow directions of ushers to their allocated sitting.

Safety and Medical

9. Emergencies. In event of emergencies, please remain calm and follow instructions from usher.

10. Medical. Guests feeling unwell can sound out to ushers or working party within the auditorium.

Security

11. Photography/Videography. All guests are to comply with zoning requirements. Photography is only allowed within foyer and auditorium of TNB Command building.

12. This administrative instruction spells out all the necessary information for all guests and the adherence to these instruction will facilitate a smooth and safe conduct of the event.
