Size: 9.5 Color: Black/White/Grey Three Verified Purchase
These are great shoes. They do how ever run a half size smaller . With that I can say for sure this is the second pair I’ve owned. The last pair lasted over a year walking, running and hiking. Just a great all around shoe. I can’t say enough about them .
I ordered these in a couple sizes for fitment. My normal shoe size is 11.5, and just like you should for a running shoe, you should size up. I went up a .5 size, and they are a perfect fit, though some may find going a full size larger is preferred for more room in the toe box. My big toe is a bit longer than all my other toes, and many other styles of the Terrex shoes taper inward too much at the big toe (Such as the Terrex agravic). This shoe (CMTK) provides a little more room there. I have the Terrex CMTK in the normal and Gore-Tex versions and both fit the same. The only difference I notice is my feet stay dry in the wet with the Gore-Tex shoe and perhaps are slightly less breathable due to the waterproof membrane. I have worn these shoes for hours on end and largely on hard surfaces. The shoes remained comfortable (I might add without any real break-in) and provided adequate arch support. I typically wear aftermarket insoles in my work shoes, but these factory insoles were enough to keep me comfortable on long days of wear. I might consider swapping out for a more supportive insole, but I imagine most would get away with the factory insole. I am very happy with these. We'll see how well they hold up over time. 11/21/19 update: Over a year later and still love these shoes. Again, I primarily use these outside of their intended offroad use so I have some accelerated wear in the sole at the center of the balls of my feet due to a minimal tread design with lots of void area. These are primarily worn on asphalt and abrasive concrete. I foresee maybe another year out of these, and another 2 years out of my gore-tex version due to wearing them less often. I will say the only negative to either version is that the laces come untied frequently when tied just snugly rather than tightly.
This reviewer owns a number of Adidas Terrex sneakers. The "Ultraboost" sole and compound used in these shoes is simply the most comfortable closed-footwear ever encountered or worn by this reviewer. The Terrex/Ultraboost line is also pretty stylish, as indicated by the number of compliments received while wearing this shoe. In the case of the CMTK Walking Shoe, they were a little too narrow and did not have the usual boost associated with the Ultraboost compound. Returned and exchanged for another Ultraboost Terrex model.
These shoes were slightly smaller than I thought they'd be, but I tend to have to order a size larger. They started out feeling a little tight (I had though about sending them back), but they ended up conforming to my feet perfectly as I started walking in them, and I'd wear them all the time if I could. And the Gortex lining is great because your feet will be warm and dry whatever the weather (and I've worn them in the rain and cold).
I didn't like the salmon shoes in similar features I had and sold those to get these. Happy I did. Feel very comfortable and the tread is very grippy and gives good footing on trails.
Nice looking pair of shoes. But after wearing them every other day for my walk/runs, the soles wore down. In contrast, the other pair (made by a different shoe company) I wear every other day and had bought months earlier - for less money - shows little wear.

These are awesome for outdoor activity where your need grip and are in mixed surfaces. I use them primarily for disc golf where you're in dirt, grass and concrete and they are perfect. Highly recommended.
