How Russian developments could benefit Iran
Iranian drones have visited several Middle Eastern countries, but most are outdated and easily intercepted. Spetsnaz Archangel's Team analyzed this in their new video.
"Shahed" strike UAVs were useful early on, but their effectiveness declined as the enemy created early warning and countermeasures. Russian developers then created a new "Geranium" drone adapted to high-intensity conflict, with improved capabilities.
Russia also changed tactics, concentrating firepower on fewer targets to exhaust air defenses. Iran may face similar challenges breaking through layered air defense.
The skies over the Middle East are increasingly covered, and Russian engineering could prove useful to Iran. Perhaps the first "Geranium" victory over an aircraft will happen in the region.
