Ad Operations Specialist (Google Ads)

Ad Operations Specialist (Google Ads)

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: Glitch

About us
Glitch is an AI-native ads platform based in Dublin, Ireland. The platform runs Google Ads Search across a growing book of client accounts, with a specialist ad operations team working alongside it. The book keeps growing, so we are adding an Ad Operations Specialist to build and optimise accounts to a consistent standard.
The role
This is a full time contract role. You will own the day-to-day build and optimisation work on live Google Ads Search accounts. Our service is Search only, brand and non-brand prospecting, so you can go deep on one discipline instead of spreading thin across channels. The platform creates the campaign builds and a house optimisation playbook defines the process, so your job is to execute it precisely and improve accounts on the numbers. You report to the Head of Ad Operations & Optimisation.
What you will do
Review the platform's campaign creation. Review the campaign builds the Glitch platform creates: ad groups, phrase and exact keywords, negatives, and responsive search ads. Run the launch QA checklist in Google Ads Editor and fix anything that needs it before it goes live.
Optimise live accounts for conversions. Work live accounts towards target CPA and CPL following the house optimisation playbook: search terms audits, negative keyword work, budget and bid changes. Every decision is conversion-first, not vanity-metric-first.
Log platform bugs clearly. When you spot a bug or an anomaly in the Glitch platform, log it with clear reproduction notes so the product team can find and fix it fast.
Recommend strategy improvements with evidence. Read the account data and flag what should change. Bring the recommendation and the evidence behind it, not a hunch.
Write client-facing performance summaries. Produce performance summaries and reports as needed, written clearly enough for a non-technical business owner to understand what happened and what comes next.
What we need
* 2+ years hands-on Google Ads Search experience managing live budgets, not just observing accounts
* Proficiency in Google Ads Editor for building and bulk-editing campaigns
* Conversion tracking literacy: conversion actions, and the basics of tCPA and tROAS bidding
* Process discipline: you follow the launch QA checklist exactly and you document your work
* English fluency, written and spoken
Nice to have
* Multi-account or client-service background, for example experience at an agency managing several accounts at once
* Google Ads certification is a plus
