Sam Panda, an acrobat who went viral a few years ago when she broke her neck during a performance in Bali when her rig malfunctioned, made waves this time when she wore a thong on a South Carolina beach — where it is illegal.
The well-known aerialist, who is originally from Pittsburgh, complained that “some Karen” called the cops on her because she wore the skimpy bikini in Myrtle Beach.
Police said they were initially called for a report of two women who were wearing thongs and a see-through top — and were “dancing and soliciting videos on the beach,” WTNH reported .
The cops spoke with the women to advise them of the ordinance.
“One of the women attempted to walk away from officers and was detained,” police said, according to the outlet.
After being shown the ordinance, Panda complied and was allowed to leave the beach without further incident.
But she vented on Facebook about the incident.
“If you are a woman, and you decide to call the police on other women for their bodies ON A BEACH, IN FRONT OF YOUR TEENAGE DAUGHTER…,” she wrote.
Both Horry County and Myrtle Beach governments ban the use of thongs under an ordinance about indecent exposure, WTNH reported. Offenders are typically given a warning for the first offense.
“You have allowed a 105 pound woman to get rushed, aggressively grabbed, manhandled, and cuffed. You allowed two women to be slut shamed publicly on a beach for their bathing suits,” Panda wrote.
“And worst of all, you showed your daughter that her body is something she should be ashamed of and could be detained for. You showed her that a man can harm a woman over the way her body is viewed by other people. You have objectified a female body that does not belong to you and have showed your daughter that those actions are acceptable,” she added.
“You should be absolutely ashamed of yourself.”
In a later post, she said the “Karen decided that my body was offensive to her and showed her child that her body could one day lead to her arrest.
“Her body could be the reason a grown ass man violates her. Her body is wrong,” she wrote.

Andrea Muzii , acrobatic Rubik’s Cube solver!
I once solved a Rubik’s Cube in 45 seconds until I realized that I was going through an acid trip and the Rubik’s Cube in my hand was actually a burrito. So no, I haven’t solved a Rubik’s Cube or even come close to it because doing so requires patience and ambition, and I have neither! But Italian mental athlete and World Memory Champion Andrea Muzii has both and it has led to him conquering the Rubik’s Cube many times including when the blood is rushing to his heads.
At just 22 years old, Andrea Muzii has won several mental sports competitions including the World Memory Championships and speedcubing competitions. Speedcubing is where you race against time to finish a puzzle, often a Rubik’s Cube. And as Laughing Squid points out, Andrea regularly shows off his Rubik’s-taming skills for his Instagram followers. Here’s Andrea showing that if a witch ever turns him into a bat and makes him solve a Rubik’s Cube while hanging upside down to break the spell, he can do it!

So basically, Andrea is kind of okay at solving a Rubik’s Cube. Rubik’s Cube is named after its inventor, Ernő Rubik, but at this point, its name should be changed to Andrea’s Cube since Andrea Muzii has owned that trick many, many times.
