Very spacious comparing to other hotel I have been. A hot tub is available on site. Free Wi-Fi access is included. Lovely old Auberge full of vintage family photos and warm pine woodwork. Wonderful quiet sleep. Cozy foyer with welcoming wood fire. Sunny breakfast room with impeccable service. Modern bathroom facilities. Host Eric was attentive and considerate. There was no breakfast provided but that was understood. It was redecorated in a modern Italian style, clean black and white. The bed linen was up to Hotel standard in this Motel. I was very surprised and pleased. All in all very good value for a Motel designation. It was clean quiet place off the expressway. Great for one night. I have been making my own personal pilgrimage to Sainte-Anne-de- Beaupre for the last 19 years. I have stayed in several motels in the area; all have been clean and reasonable! The scenery is beautiful along the river! Close to Quebec City and cheaper to stay if you are on a budget! There is a nice ski hill not far away for winter! The town is very friendly, awesome services in restaurants and pubs. A great spa right across from the motel. The basilique has a beauty of its own. Awesome place to meditate, pray and feel closer to God. It was nice to see the cathedral done being built. Steeples were only half done when I visited the cathedral about 45 to 50 years when I was a kid. My visit was much more interesting now knowing the story of the church and various chapels in it. For a winter ski vacation, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre is fantastic. Anne, which is a terrific ski hill. About 40 minutes from Le Massif, another great ski hill. Great location to stay just outside of Quebec. Beautiful Cathedral to visit and interesting sites in and around the area. We enjoyed our exploring here. The Basillica is beautiful and an excellent visit. Very interesting history. Unfortunately the nunnery was closed which would have been interesting to visit. We stayed closed to the Basillica which had many eating places so did not need to go into St Anne for food. The Canyon was easily accessible and being a week day was not crowded. Would recommend a visit to both. The hotel was excellent in all aspects. The location was great the room was clean and warm the parking lot was always cleared of snow the staff were extremely helpful and friendly the showers were good and kitchen was well stocked with usable cookware. К году было завершено строительство первой базилики, но уже в году она была разрушена в результате сильного пожара. Здание же базилики, которое мы видим сегодня, было построено в годах, а оформление роскошного интерьера, известного своими великолепными витражами, мозаикой, живописью, каменными и деревянными скульптурами, окончательно завершили в году. Возле входа в базилику вы увидите специальные стойки с костылями, тростями и другими подобными предметами, оставленными людьми, исцелившимися здесь от своих тяжелых недугов. Более полумиллиона человек посещают ежегодно базилику Сент-Анн-де-Бопре, особое же скопление народа здесь наблюдается в день Святой Анны — 26 июля.
