MAVI partners with high-growth US startups and SMEs, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly within their finance teams. This is not a traditional accounting manager role — you will lead accounting operations for US clients while mentoring your team in a fast-moving environment.
The Opportunity
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee end-to-end accounting operations for US clients, managing a team of accountants and working directly with US Controllers and CFOs.
What You Will Own
* Lead end-to-end accounting (Record-to-Report) for US clients
* Manage and mentor a team of accountants
* Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles
* Review and finalize financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
* Act as primary US client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships
* Drive process automation and workflow improvements
* Ensure audit readiness and manage auditor interactions
What We're Looking For
* 6+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP expertise
* Prior experience in team management or mentoring
* ERP experience (NetSuite, Toast, QuickBooks, or similar)
* CA / CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred
* Ability to work with US time zone overlap
