Accountant (with Finance responsibilities)

Company: Antal International

An international mining company is looking for an Accountant in Almaty.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accounting records and ensure accurate financial accounting;
* Prepare tax and statistical reports;
* Schedule and process payments;
* Prepare financial reports;
* Support budget management and reporting;
* Participate in year-end audits and licence-related audits;
* Work with 1C accounting system;
* Handle day-to-day accounting matters independently;
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on accounting and reporting matters.
Requirements:
* Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field;
* 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience;
* Strong knowledge of accounting and tax requirements;
* Practical experience in tax and statistical reporting;
* Advanced level of English;
* Experience with budgeting and financial reporting;
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
