About AAU_ROBOT (Telegram bot)

HISTORY

The creation of @AAU_Robot was not initially aimed at enabling students to view their grade report. Rather, it was developed to answer the question, "How can I easily obtain the information I need from the AAU Portal?" I wanted to learn more about Telegram bots and how coding could simplify complex tasks.

Students of Addis Ababa University use the AAU Portal to access their Grade Report. However, it can be tiresome to repeatedly visit the website to view the report. In the world of bots, there is a simple way of accessing the report by simply entering one's ID number and password. Using a Telegram bot is straightforward, works well even with medium network connectivity, and is faster than using the website.

Therefore, it is more convenient to view the Grade Report via bots rather than websites. I created this bot to explain the concept of "What is a bot?" to my friends, and as a tribute to our group BELAH.

As previously mentioned, this bot is dedicated to the 2013 batch Information Systems students: BEKI (motivator), AZI (intelligent), HAYU (very important), and LIDU (hard worker, committed).
