BREAKING: Aaron Gordon Signs Multi-Year Extension with Denver Nuggets

Denver, CO — June 10, 2024 — The Denver Nuggets have secured forward Aaron Gordon with a lucrative multi-year contract extension, ensuring the high-flying star remains a cornerstone of their championship aspirations.

Sources close to the negotiations confirm that the deal is worth $132 million over four years, locking Gordon in through the 2027-28 season. The 28-year-old forward played a pivotal role in Denver’s 2023 NBA Championship run and has continued to be a defensive anchor and offensive weapon alongside Nikola Jokić and Jamal Murray.

Nuggets GM Calvin Booth praised Gordon’s versatility, calling him 'one of the most underrated two-way players in the league.' Since arriving in Denver via trade in 2021, Gordon has evolved into a perfect fit in head coach Michael Malone’s system, averaging 16.3 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game last season while guarding the opposition’s best forwards.
