First there was Gigi. Then came Bella , her dark-haired mirror image. Now young brother Anwar is starting to make waves in the fashion industry after starring in campaigns Hugo Boss and Zadig & Voltaire, and is 1/2 of a A-list power couple with girlfriend Dua Lipa .
But just when you thought you had a handle on all the Hadid siblings, we give you two more: Alana and Marielle . That's right, there are two more Hadid sisters with style, sass and social media accounts for you to become obsessed with...
The older half-sisters are the product of father Mohamed Hadid's first marriage to Mary Butler, which ended in 1992. In 1994 the Palestinian businessman met Dutch model Yolanda van der Heik, with their union resulting in the younger Hadid children, GigI, Bella and Anwar. The genetically blessed siblings all share the same exotic-com-All-American looks, as well as an interest in fashion.
But enough about them. Here's the lowdown on what we know about the less famous Hadids...
The eldest, Marielle, is a mother of two (her super sweet son and daughter make frequent appearances on Gigi's Instagram account - remember when they formed a little band?) and launched an eyewear brand, called, fittingly Hadid Eyewear . Like all members of the Hadid squad, she's very funny on social media and she's definitely perfected her selfie face...
Marielle is the eldest Hadid sibling at 41-years-old. Gigi attended her birthday party last year.
Aren't you keeping up? Marielle is the first child of Mohammed Hadid and his first wife Mary Butler. The couple sadly split in 1992.
Her birthday is 7 September, 1980 and she was born in Washington, DC (we know, miles away from her younger siblings' Californian existence). She's also a Virgo, if that's the kind of thing you're interested in.
She has two kids - Coco and Colton.
Alana is the younger of the two and works as a fashion designer in New York. She's collaborated with Lou & Grey in the past and created fun emoji-laden tees for the Current Moji brand. Another pro poser (we get serious inspiration from her Insta posts) she's also got a killer wardrobe, with a penchant for metallics, tailoring and some seriously good slogan tees - she's described herself as having the most 'androgynous' style of the siblings.
The elder sister of Gigi, Bella and Anwar is 36-years-old.
She was born on 27 July, 1985. Again, in Washington, DC.
But the best bit about both Hadids? Their relentless support of their younger siblings - there's no room for sibling rivalry here.

With two top model sisters, it’s not surprising that Anwar’s own modeling career has flown under the radar.
Life's not simple when you have a famous sibling, but what about two famous siblings? By now, just about everyone has heard of Gigi and Bella Hadid , a.k.a. two of the top fashion models working in the world today. But not everyone knows that they actually have a younger brother, Anwar.
Watch out though, world, because 20-year-old Anwar is a model too! With two top model sisters, it’s not surprising that Anwar’s own modeling career has flown under the radar. However, he’s had his own fashion modeling success and was signed to IMG in 2016. He’s walked New York Fashion Week, been on the cover of Teen Vogue and even landed a Hugo Boss campaign. More recently, he's become the face of Valentino's Born in Roma fragrance.
But there's actually a lot more to Anwar Hadid that the general public doesn't know yet. Here are 20 Little Known Facts About the Forgotten Hadid Sibling, Anwar .
Not only is Anwar the youngest of five children, but he also happens to be the only son in the family. In addition to Bella and Gigi, he has two older half-sisters, Mariella and Alana, from his father’s previous marriage to Mary Butler.
Both Mariella and Alana also work in the fashion industry. And guess what? Mariella has two children, making Anwar an uncle!
Anwar was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2015, about six months after sister Bella received the same diagnosis. Their mother also has the illness and has struggled with its effects for years. The three family members have been very vocal about their shared illness and have worked to spread Lyme awareness.
The Hadid family, in general, has been pretty open about their preference for homeopathic and alternative medicinal remedies. Anwar is no different, telling Byrdie that he tries to stay healthy (specifically as part of his Lyme disease treatment) with herbs and natural supplements. His favorite is green algae, which he claims to carry around with him and take consistently.
Anwar previously dated actress Nicola Peltz ( The Last Airbender , Bates Motel ) and has been dating singer and model Dua Lupa as of early 2019.
Interestingly, Peltz herself briefly dated Dua Lipa’s ex, singer Paul Jason Klein. However, the two split in February 2019. Peltz reportedly unfollowed the entire Hadid family on social media after Hadid was spotted making out with Kendall Jenner soon after their breakup.
The Britain edition of Vogue has reported that Anwar and Dua Lipa were set up by Gigi Hadid herself. Some fans have even given the couple their own name: “Duwar”.
It seems Gigi really cares about her younger brother's love life, seeing as she also reportedly warned him about going further with Kendall Jenner.
Anwar’s famous family has been quoted numerous times saying that he’s shy and does not readily greet the spotlight. He himself has also stated that modeling is not his first interest, and he only got into it because of the opportunities he saw it giving his older sisters. Looks like he's a natural!
It seems we might already know where his real interests lie. n addition to being a fashion model, he’s an aspiring musician! In early 2019, Anwar released his debut album, BLEACH. The album has 17 tracks and was self-produced. It can be found on Spotify and Amazon, and it includes some collaboration tracks with other aspiring musicians.
Along with his album, Anwar made a music video for one of the tracks, called “ Progression 101 ”. The song features The Door guitarist Robby Krieger and was actually filmed around the streets of Palestine, where Anwar’s father (real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid) is originally from. The song and video both appear to be taking a political stance in support of Palestine.
If Hadid’s known for anything as a model, it’s his numerous tattoos. In 2018, he told W Magazine that his tattoo of a small cherub was his favorite. But in 2019, he was quoted in a Vanity Fair interview saying “I have so many weird tattoos that at one point meant something to me, but no longer do.”
In the same Vanity Fair interview, Anwar said that his favorite beach is Malibu’s Little Dume. But forget visiting it if you’re not local — the beach is so private that only those with a special key can get in through its gated entrance. The scenery is supposed to be gorgeous, so it's kind of understandable why nearby residents want to keep it on lockdown.
His mother, Yolanda Hadid (née van den Herik) starred on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from 2012 to 2016, during which Anwar made occasional appearances alongside his sisters. Seeing as he was only in his teens though, he sure looks different than the young man we see today!
“Anwar” is an Arabic name that means “luminous” or “bright”, and it is the middle name of Anwar’s father, Mohamed. According to data from Babycenter, the name has seen a spike in popularity in recent years.
Anwar shares a bit more with his father, as his full birth name is “Anwar Mohamed Gerard Hadid.”
Anwar attended Malibu High School and the private Westmark School in Encino, playing varsity sports at each. He was on the football (as seen above) and soccer teams, and his athletics were even mentioned on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As a junior, he was ranked in the top 1,000 national high school football players and the top 100 in California.
It’s safe to say that most successful models — and most other people — rely on professionals to do their hair. But that’s not the case with Anwar. He told Byrdie that he bleached his hair with CVS products and has repeated the process multiple times since (even dying it blue at one point and millennial pink at another!)
Earlier this year, Anwar launched a Los Angeles-based jewelry line called Martyre . It’s one of multiple projects he has with close friend Yoni Latham, who is also an aspiring musician. Their jewelry line is designed to be unisex and so far includes bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings. Anwar can frequently be spotted wearing his line's pieces.
In May 2019, Anwar told W Magazine that his style icon is none other than his dad, Mohamed Hadid. He went on to clarify that the two dress nothing alike, but his dad is “fresh” and “a great guy”.
Most of the photos we've seen of Mohamed Hadid have been of the businessman in designer suits, but he's definitely fashionable.
Anwar’s been spotted multiple times wearing mismatched shoes (and mismatched socks!) when out and about in public, including at his sister Gigi's high-profile birthday bash in New York.
Anwar has also professed his dislike of sandals, saying that “the toes” actually freak him out and that he prefers footwear you can wear socks with.
Anwar has posted a ton of great Instagram pics, but it's hard to compete with the ones he used to post of his dog! Poor Lucky is in doggy heaven now, but he appeared to have lead a full lifestyle. The well-loved pooch even had his own Instagram account with 10,000 followers, @luckyhadid .
Anwar also told People Magazine that he loves essential oils and uses them daily in a diffuser. He is particularly a fan of lavender and eucalyptus.
It seems he may have inherited his love for the oils from his mother, who has professed her love for them on multiple occasions.
In an odd turn of events, Anwar made headlines in London when a stranger accused him of stealing one of his Apple AirPods outside of a local café. That’s right— just one AirPod. The man claimed to have tracked his missing AirPod to Anwar and a friend via an app, but the two have denied any wrongdoing.
