Ng Yen YenNg Yen Yen (Chinese: 黄燕燕; pinyin: Huáng Yàn Yàn; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: N̂g Iàn-iàn; born 10 April 1946) is a Malaysian politician who had served in the Cabinet of Malaysia as Minister of Women, Family and Community Development from 2008 to 2009 and Minister of Tourism from 2009 to 2013. Her appointment as a full minister marked a milestone as the first Malaysian Chinese woman to hold a cabinet position. Ng was the first woman to be elected to the position of Vice-President of Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) from 2008 to 2013. Earlier she was the chief of the Women's wing of the MCA until 2008.
Awang Adek HussinAwang Adek bin Hussin (born 18 May 1955) is a Malaysian politician and diplomat. He is the former Malaysian Ambassador to the United States. He was the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Bachok constituency in Kelantan for one term from 2004 to 2008. Datuk Dr. Awang Adek bin Hussin is no longer an active politician he once was. He had relinquished all his party positions after the General Election in 2018. He remains active as an ordinary party member and is no longer active in party politics. Since 2018, his involvements focused mainly on corporate activities and has been chairmen on a few boards.

The Bill was introduced into the Parliament of Malaysia by Dato' Seri Dr. Awang Adek Hussin, Deputy Minister of Finance (Malaysia) on 18 November 2009. It was passed by the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) on 20 April 2010 and the Dewan Negara (Senate) on 4 May 2010 without any amendment. The Act received Royal Assent on 2 June 2010 pursuant to Clause 4A of Article 66 of the Federal Constitution. The Registrar Office of Credit Reporting Agencies of the Ministry of Finance (Malaysia) is responsible for the administration and enforcement of this Act.
