DESCRIPTION OF THE TECHNOLOGY

 NAC

THE Aruba ClearPass NAC system provides network access in both local and distributed environments and allows control from a single center console. An efficient authentication system provides support to thousands of users, as well as visibility and identification of all devices connected to the network. The system integrates every critical aspect of the BYOD trend (policy management, self-service device registration, guest access to the network, and overall device status control) within a single platform that can be deployed in any network infrastructure. Such a complete solution, combined with the ability to integrate with external systems (including IPS and MDM), provides automation of information flow and increases the level of network security.

Network routers

NETWORK ROUTERS - Hawlett Packard Enterprise has MSR routers designed for small and large departments. The solution includes routing, switching and protection functions. It also provides a range of communication options via a built-in GSM modem or wireless module. The second series of HSR routers is designed for campus WANs that require high performance and support for MPLS, BGP, and MBGP, as well as large routing tables to connect many ISPs.

Network switches

NETWORK SWITCHES - the manufacturer has divided the portfolio of switches into two segments. The devices under the Aruba brand are dedicated to the so-called campus, which contains access, aggregation and key switches. Depending on the routing support, the number of ports, the PoE support, as well as the models with SmartRate interfaces (speeds 1, 2.5, 5 and 10 Gbps per RJ45 connection) and optical SFP +, many models are available. The second segment under the Hewlett Packard Enterprise brand is designed for data centers. Comware switches provide high reliability, performance, virtualization, and clustering.

UEBA

UEBA (USER AND ENTITY BEHAVIOR ANALYTICS) - Introspect is a solution for large companies. It allows you to monitor network traffic while in touch mode and collect logs directly or through SIEM integration. Uses machine learning algorithms to build a profile of behavior of individual users and their groups. The solution may also detect anomalies that may indicate a security breach: acquisition of an account or malware activity. Introspect is based on reliable and efficient distributed components such as Hadoop and Elasticsearch. It is possible to automate incident response processes through integration with ClearPass.

WLAN

WLAN- the Aruba solution consists of flexible and high-performance access points that can be managed centrally by controllers or used as a solution without Aruba. In Aruba Instant management mode, the automatically selected access point distributes the configurations of other devices in the same network segment. Just turn on the power for one access point, configure it via a predefined wireless network and connect other devices, it only takes 5 minutes. When devices are managed by controllers, traffic from access points is centralized to simplify configuration, improve data encryption, ensure proper implementation of security policies, and provide other important network services. Aruba is equipped with several unique features: • Patented CLIENTMATCH technology ensures that mobile devices will be successfully paired with the best access point and radio on a wireless network. • ARM technology ensures that access points are not disrupted, resulting in a more reliable and efficient wireless network. • Integrated firewall that controls applications and websites. • Integrated wireless network protection identifies and minimizes the threat of wireless intrusions using foreign access points. • The integrated spectrum analyzer identifies sources of interference and eliminates the need for separate spectrum monitors with multiple management servers, new access points and special sensors. • Integrated wireless network protection identifies and minimizes the threat of wireless intrusions using foreign access points. • The integrated spectrum analyzer identifies sources of interference and eliminates the need for separate spectrum monitors with multiple management servers, new access points and special sensors. • Integrated wireless network protection identifies and minimizes the threat of wireless intrusions using foreign access points. • The integrated spectrum analyzer identifies sources of interference and eliminates the need for separate spectrum monitors with multiple management servers, new access points and special sensors.
