Aptos is a promising blockchain from FB devs.

APTOS

APTOS was founded by Mo Shaikh (CEO) and Avery Ching (CTO). The two first worked together at Meta (formerly Facebook), specifically on the Diem blockchain and Novi wallet projects. Shaikh led Strategic Partnerships at Novi, while Ching was a Principal Software Engineer on the crypto platform team at Novi. 

They promise an ambitious speed of 160 thousand transactions per second. The transaction must take place in less than a second, the blockchain is based on the method of parallel transaction execution, and in the classical blockchain - while one transaction is in progress, the second cannot be started.

The programming language is Move, which was created for Diem.

There is no token yet. They reported that they want to launch the main network at the end of 2022. The Testnet launched in March 2022.

The APTOS team works quite privately. So far, there are no activities for the community, but you can already make test transactions with the Pontem wallet and DEX.

About nodes:

Only 100 people were selected for phase #1. There are only 200 people in phase #2.

At the same time, there is a queue of >10,000 verified nodes in the Devnet. In addition, APTOS has created a section on his forum, where each validator can write about himself and vote.

Pontem - Multimask - Liquidswap

Just like APTOS, Pontem was originally developed for Diem by Facebook, and founded in 2016. It is the main Aptos partner today. They create infrastructure applications on APTOS.

Pontem and Multimask are for APTOS like Uniswap and Metamask for Ethereum. The number of Testnet unique users is approaching 100K for 09.08.2022.

Investments are not big, but the main thing is a partnership with APTOS.
