Sure. My name is Michael Beck, and I am the project lead for UNION Finance. I have over 25 years in technology and management experience working in industries including finance, insurance, and cybersecurity.

What is the biggest advantage of UNION Finance
Michael
Our largest advantage at UNION Finance is in our thought leadership and real-world expertise in defi, insurance, and technology implementation. Since our initial whitepaper, we have seen a number of companies try to copy our offerings and approach. We're flattered, but still consider our solution to be the most robust.

So Can you share your current roadmap? What are some of the major milestones of the roadmap?

Our current roadmap is posted in a Mediun article. It goes without saying that the events in crypto markets has made us reconsider our approach. Right now, our focus is on improving our product offerings, expanding our offerings across new chains, fulfilling our promises to partners, and encouraging new liquidity. We have new products we've announced publically, like our NFTs that we want to push live-- to make defi insurance more engaging. We also have a lending platform we want to bring live to help defi users in getting better loan-to-value without the risks of custodian-based lending.

Can you tell us how UNION Finance works ?
Michael:
Sure- at a high level, we aren't technically an insurer. This provides a point of confusion, because we don't serve as an insurance underwriter, mutual, counterparty, or exchange. We are a protocol for connecting risk takers with parties who pay them when bad things happen, in return for having made payments.
The UNION policy is an NFT that works as a claim against one or more liquidity pools. When someone with a policy has something bad happen that is covered by the policy, they submit a claim which is voted by our community. If the community agrees, the policy pays them from the liquidity pools. Payments made for policies revert to parties who stake liquidity when those policies expire.

We'd like to survive winter, see appreciation of our token price, and meet our development goals. We're working hard to build new capabilities into our team. We think these things would be really exciting to achieve

Our focus is on making defi cheaper and easier to use, with less risk and expense. We are strongly focused on building utility in our platform. We belive our team, expertise in traditional markets, and capabilities make us strong participants in the marketplace.

First, we start by saying, like a utility tokens, we are a product. We aren't an investment. We don't engage the secondary market or focus on manipulation of our price. We focus on building useful tools that expand the utility of our token. We use top skill and perform audits to ensure the safety and security of our platform. Our team has deep cybersecurity expertise. That doesn't guarantee profitability, but there are ways apart from our token-- like using our protocol and limiting or collecting payments for other people's risks, which can be

Welcome to our Arab community
I wanted to know what are the ways in which you explain and spread your project in the Arab societies and regions of the Middle East, and what is your plan to spread it in those countries.

We were early in both translating our whitepaper to Arabic and launching an Arabic language Telegram community.
We also have our whitepaper translated to Turkish, and a Turkish community. @unionfinance_tr
We support other languages, too, including Mandarin, Russian, and Spanish
We are looking for leadership from within each of these communities to help us spread interest. Anyone who can help should contact me directly. Amas are a large part of this outreach, but we are also looking for strong personal commitment.

Our primary product, c-op, or collateral optimization and protection is a product focused at preventing sharp changes in crypto price from hurting crypto holders. We use our insurance to create a price floor that allow you to preserve value if the price of your tokens decline sharply. If you think the value of tokens will increase, you can stake liquidity and collect value from parties looking for protection

We are just focused on building our utility and ecosystem. We hope to gain excitement through our partnerships and use of the platform. Our message is that defi doesn't have to be dangerous, and there are ways to be both safe and profitable in crypto markets using decentralized tools and open solutions
