AI Assistant — helper inside the bot

ResnapBot

Your AI helper for everything ReSnap-related: software settings, rendering, billing, diagnostics on your active Workstation. Open it with the 🛟 AI Assistant button in the main menu.

Getting started

Tap 🛟 AI Assistant → a card opens:

🛟 AI Assistant Ask anything about your session, GPU, or software. You can attach screenshots.

Then just type your question in the chat — a normal message, in any language. Screenshots are supported too (attach an image to your message).

What it sees live

The answer comes in real time — you watch the text being typed out as the assistant composes it. When it's done, a final formatted message appears.

If you have an active session and the question is about it, the assistant can look inside the Workstation: check GPU status, running processes, take a screenshot, run a command, read error logs (Windows Event Log, Blender / C4D / Houdini logs, crash dumps). You'll see this right in the answer — lines like «Checking GPU status», «Taking a screenshot», «Running a command on your VM». You don't need to ask specifically — the assistant decides what to check.

If there's no active session, it just answers with text from its general knowledge.

What it can help with

  • Software — Blender, C4D, Octane, Redshift, Houdini settings; common render issues.
  • Billing — your balance, transaction history, active promo codes, render cost estimation.
  • Workstation — diagnostics, something not working, slow loads, errors.
  • The bot — how to do things, where to find which button.
  • Configuration — which GPU to pick for your task.

Talking to a human

If you want to talk to a real person, tell the assistant. It will show a Talk to human button — tap it and the conversation switches to a live operator, continuing in the same chat.

History and sync

The conversation is preserved — you can close the card and come back later; the assistant remembers the context.

Sync with the stream: history is shared with the Assistance button on the right panel of the stream. Start a conversation in the bot — see it continue in the stream. And vice versa.

Closing

The ✖ Close button. If there was a conversation, the bot asks whether the assistant was helpful (👍 Helped / 👎 Didn't help). Feedback is optional — it helps us improve answer quality.
