ADD: Bureau Members Strategise

The meeting adds to efforts at mapping out communication strategies, elaborating the plan for the national tour of the party’s president and adopting measures of touching base with the electorate. 

Officials of the Alliance for Democracy and Development (ADD) met over the weekend to deliberate on party activities ahead of the October 7 presidential election. The bureau meeting convened by the National President, Garga Haman Adji focused on fine-tuning communication strategies, elaborating on the plan to tour the national territory by the party’s flagbearer and adopting operational mechanisms of getting to the electorates.

Garga Haman told Cameroon Tribune that the strategic meeting for bureau members was intended to adjust and perfect certain political plans within the party.

“Different communication procedures relating to the media outlet needed to be outlined. In addition, we needed to discuss on my national tour. I intend to visit every region in the country, meeting the grassroots within the framework on convincing the electorate,” he stated.

The former senior administrator said together with his party officials, they have been working mentally and physically at convincing the electorate that the ADD is capable of meeting the expectations of the people if voted in power.

The presidential candidate equally revealed that press statements will be prepared and the periodicity of press conferences made known in the near future. “The press has already been a partner and the fastest means of getting our party activities as well as ambitions to the public.

The population needs to be constantly informed for them to make informed choices on October 7,” Garga noted.

He also declared his readiness to participate in political debate programmes as a strategy of pushing across the political ideologies of his party.
