A young Chinese Christian woman was tortured to death and the miserable sight of the body teared her family

The Christian in China, especially the members of church Eastern Lightning, has currently been suppressed hardly. A foreign media disclosed that one of the members in Xinjiang had been arrested with no reason in last year and “killed” after 12 days of imprisonment. Her family rushed to mortuary and what they had seen was an obvious tortured body with numerous scars.

Bitter Winter, which is a magazine article perennially concerns for the human right issue in China, pointed out that a 30-year-old woman living in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region was being arrested in last year on 22 of December and known to be dead on 3 of January. She got her 8 year-old daughter and aged parent left behind and her parent was totally collapsed after seeing the body.

“The surrounding of her eyes are blue-purple in color and her left-breast were bruised in size of palm. There are also different size of circle bruises on her four limbs. Her thigh was found of trace of burning. Bloodstain and wounds on her carpal bone and legs were found as well. One of the thumbnail’s nail was felled off. That is a miserable and painful death indeed” Parents of deceased cried. 

One of the family members, by looking at how hard the deceased was biting on her lower lip, speculated the death was obviously brought by an extremely painful torment. “her lower lip is even bit to white”. There is also bloodstain and cotton left between her teeth and nose, implying that someone was trying and planned to clean and cover the bloodstain. Autopsy was subsequently requested by the family members and the result of it was even more serious than the speculation, that more wound was discovered.

Despite the autopsy report provides the firm evidence showing the illegality and misconduct, the police still stands firm and denied the accusation. The family member then further requested for the CCTV capturing the process of trial, but such request was being intentionally postponed and finally rejected by reason of “The case involves state secrets”. 

The more terrible thing is, when every time the family member wants to voice out for the deceased for justice, plenty of police force is assigned to inspect on their every single move, abiding aside their house, censoring their communication devices, stopping them from connecting the foreign lawyer hired and even dumbing the forensic who was responsible of deceased’s rescue so that the family member will not be able to get the diagnosis report and know the truth. In confronting the pressure from Chinese community, the family member are finally forced to give up struggling for justice and truth.
