"It looks like it was a separate random car," said Renata Mikniaviciute, an astrophysicist at Vilnius University.
The meteor explosion was captured by the Phuket Observatory. Residents also share photos and videos on social media – the flash was seen all over the country from Alytus to Kupiskis.
