EconomyMoliyaPressOn June 20, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov held a meeting with the General Director of the Singapore company Indacom Eco Tian Ye.
The meeting was attended by the financial director of Indacom Eco Nan Qinghe, technical specialist Mao Fulin, as well as First Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance Ilkhom Norkulov and other responsible representatives.
For reference: Indacom Eco is a comprehensive carbon industry service provider engaged in the development of investment and voluntary emission reduction projects, technical services, carbon trading, carbon finance. It has a portfolio of over 100 successful projects and sales of over 20 million carbon units.
During the dialogue, the parties exchanged views on the reforms carried out in our country in recent years, in particular, on the work on the transition to a green economy, on the formed projects for the use of renewable energy sources.
During the conversation, issues of mitigating the effects of climate change, reducing carbon dioxide emissions, forming new joint projects using the company’s experience in these areas and attracting modern technologies, as well as implementing various social projects were discussed.
At the same time, the company expressed its readiness to assist in the implementation of the national project “Yashil makon” (Green Space) being implemented in our country, as well as to implement projects aimed at expanding forest areas in the republic.
They also expressed their readiness to establish cooperation on the basis of temporary regulations aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions in our country.
As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop and expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
