A meeting was held with representatives of the Al Ghanim & Sons Group of Companies of the State of Kuwait

On December 5 of this year, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov held a meeting with representatives of the Al Ghanim & Sons Group of Companies corporation of the State of Kuwait.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Board of Al Ghanim & Sons Grour of Companies Fouad Mohammed Thunayan Al-Ghanim and a number of representatives. On the Uzbek side, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UzAssets Bobur Abdinazarov and the heads of other structural divisions took part.

During the talks, bilateral relations, in particular, cooperation on public-private partnership projects, were discussed. Views were exchanged on the prospects for cooperation with the company in implementing projects in the energy, water supply, infrastructure and construction sectors in Uzbekistan.

For reference: Al Ghanim & Sons Grour of Companies is one of the largest and well-known companies in Kuwait, implementing large-scale projects in the fields of electricity, water supply, infrastructure and construction. In particular, there are successful large-scale projects for the purification and supply of drinking water and wastewater treatment.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue negotiations on joint projects and further intensify consultations.
