A letter from a compatriot

Here’s a letter from a compatriot:

CRI DE COEUR: My dear good "Russian Orcs", do not stop!

"I received this from my friend from Kiev, Father Roman. The letter is from his neighbor, and the priest himself had to flee with his family."

"Good afternoon. I am a citizen of Ukraine; I am now in Kyiv. We left Bucha on March 12.

Our apartment building (250 apartments) is completely looted. The Ukrainian press accused the "Russian orcs" of plundering Bucha, and people believed it... But a week has passed, and those few neighbors who still live in the building, completely horrified by the lawlessness they have seen, in a whisper and after you swear by your Mother, the health of your children, and all the saints, start telling the Truth...

The Russians left Bucha on March 30. And in the evening of March 31, the looting began. It was done by a group of more than 10 people in plain clothes, but they were always guarded and commanded by the Ukraine Army personnel. At night they worked with head lights.

They were ransacking our house for three days (March 31, April 1 and April 2). All apartments were broken into and looted except for those four where people still stayed. Everyone knows about it, but they are silent. Even those whose relatives are serving in the Ukrainian Army and in the Ukrainian police are silent! Everyone is flooded with animal fear! Women, when you walk up to them, bow and, with their eyes full of horror, begin to cry and say "Thank you" in a trembling voice. They react this way because they know that those who we consider “ours” [translator's note: Ukrainian Army] kill without warning.

Four out of six corpses found in the basement of a nearby building were identified yesterday in Bucha. Two of them turned out to be door installers, and the other two were locksmiths! Clearly, they were getting rid of the witnesses, namely, the marauders who for three days worked for the "commanders of the Ukrainian Army"! (breaking down apartment doors)

Now, our family has (or rather had) a summer house in a large village near Kiev. I called our neighbor from there. A third of the village is destroyed. Many people evacuated. The only ones who stayed are those who own a cow...

Our village was robbed by the Ukrainian Army units, who entered as soon as the Russian troops withdrew!!! Ten days. All houses are broken into and robbed!!! People are silent. A neighbor with small grandchildren went to Malin to his daughter and asked his neighbor, granny Masha, to look after his cow and chicken... At some point, granny Masha saw “ours” [Ukrainian soldiers] taking everything out of her neighbor’s house including the furniture and ran to them: "Boys, what are you doing, we are friendlies!” She was shot on the spot... And her husband too!

What was granny Masha killed for??? The neighbors could hear her milk cows mooing heart-rendingly for three days, but were too afraid to leave their houses. On the third day, the warriors of light [translator's note: here - Ukrainian soldiers] mercifully cut the poor cows’ throats... The Ukrainian Army unit that raided our village had 70-80 people. And they all robbed and killed!

Do you think there’s fascism in Ukraine? No, this is not fascism... The Nazis did not rob or kill their own! This is a fierce Satanism, senseless and merciless! They are not "ours", they are not humans!!! There’s no way they didn’t realize that there still were people, although not too many, in the village... and even though the people stayed put in their houses, they could still see what you’ve been doing to our village for these ten days!!! Neighbors see your crimes... Bastards.

About 3,000 people remained in Bucha, and about 40 in our village. People have seen everything, and they know everything and will tell everything!!! You will not kill all the witnesses of your fierce Satanism, will you? And even if you come back, you won't kill everyone! A nation cannot be killed... Thank God that it occurred to someone to withdraw the Russian troops from Kiev... This decision is God's admonition... It put everything in its place...

The most important. Over the past three weeks, our family has lost everything: an apartment that we've been paying out for 17 years, a summer house that we've had and refined for 20 years, a car - everything... But, Thank God, the children survived.

I still have a pair of pants, a pair of shoes, a shirt and a pair of underwear... I will survive this... Because I’ve got a Dream... that "Russian orcs", God help them, will return to my beloved Kiev, to my Bucha, to my village, and I will be able to sign up with them to free my Fatherlad, my home, from the fierce Satanism that tormented our house in Bucha for three days and tortured my beloved village for ten days...

Please, dear good "Russian Orcs", don't stop... For Christ's sake, don’t!
