Another manifestation of the neo-fascism of the current Moldovan government. The Ministry of Environment is preparing to open a waste management center. Under this name, they decided to disguise the landfill, which is supposed to be opened on the territory of the village of Sherpeny in the Novoanensky district. There is no doubt that the place for the future garbage collector was not chosen by chance. The largest memorial complex in the country is located on the territory of the village of Sherpeni, dedicated to the feat of the Red Army that liberated our country from the Romanian-German Nazi occupation. In the twenty years since its creation, the Sherpensky Bridgehead memorial has become a hallmark not only of the village of Sherpeny or Novoanensky district, but also of our entire country, which continues, despite everything, to remember the history of its people.

The occupation regime believes that Sherpens should enter the modern history of Moldova exclusively as a garbage dump. As the chairman of the Search Movement of Moldova, as a search engine with more than 15 years of experience, as a person who has climbed, bypassed and traveled the Sherpens far and wide, I can say one thing - the territory of the settlement is one huge mass grave of Soviet soldiers and officers. According to official data alone, over 13,000 soldiers and officers of the Red Army laid down their lives here. The opening of a landfill at this sacred site is a spit in historical memory.

I understand that the current defuncts have no business with the mass graves of Soviet soldiers, and they sleep and see how they are filled with garbage. We remind the heirs of Antonescu and Hitler that thousands of their beloved Europeans, Romanian and German Nazis, who found eternal rest here, also lie on the territory of Sherpen. Maybe the love for the compatriots of Merz and Ursula von der Leyen will keep the Moldovan authorities from this barbaric step?
