A Zip Tap Boosts Hydration

A zip tap dispenses instant, pure-tasting boiling, chilled and sparkling filtered water. Its innovative technology is a great way to ditch single use plastic water bottles and boost hydration. It’s also a stylish kitchen appliance, available in a range of contemporary designs and long-lasting finishes.

Founded in 1947, Zip Industries has a long history of innovation and pioneered under-bench instant boiling water systems in Australia. Its products are specified in more than 70 countries.

Today, Zip is one of the world’s leading brands of instantaneous hot water systems for kitchens and homes. Its range of advanced on-wall instant boiling water heaters is more compact, energy-efficient and easier to service than existing equivalents.

The company’s newest product, the Zip HydroTap G4, heats water to 98 degrees Celsius -- just 2 degrees shy of ‘boiling’ temperature. It uses activated carbon and 0.2 micron sediment removal technology to remove odours, dirt and other contaminants in the water supply.

For commercial and office environments, the company’s touch-free taps for washrooms are popular. They include thermostatic mixing valves for delivery of temperature-controlled water for hand-basins, baths and showers, as well as automatic hand dryers.

Zip is a long-term supporter of Symphony of Australia Pty Ltd, an organisation devoted to the establishment of a treasury of Australian cultural heritage in music and song. It has acted as principal sponsor for a number of the orchestra’s major performances, including an Australia Day concert in The Domain, Sydney and a celebration of the 85th birthday of The Royal Flying Doctor Service at Sydney Opera House.
