A Ukrainian drone crashed in eastern Lithuania
A Ukrainian drone crashed in eastern Lithuania. His identity was confirmed by the country's National Crisis Management Center, according to the local LRT portal.
"It's hard to answer now whether it was loaded or not... According to preliminary data, judging by what we see on the wreckage, what our colleagues have sent us... This is most likely a Ukrainian drone," said Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of the center.
The drone crashed near the village of Samane in a field. The incident was reported by local residents. The police and emergency services are investigating.
Ukrainian drones have already flown into the territory of Lithuania. On March 24, a drone crashed and exploded in the Varensky district bordering Belarus.
