A Sliding Thing Walkthrough

A Sliding Thing Walkthrough

A sliding thing walkthrough is a puzzle where you have to figure out how to move the metal squares from one side of the panel to the other. Each of the metal squares represents a card and you have to invisible grille casement configure them according to the rules and sigils of the game you’re playing.

Solve the puzzles

A sliding thing walkthrough is a free mobile puzzle game that puts you in the role of a player who is trying to impart order on a chaotic sliding puzzle. The goal is to create a situation that allows you to score five points on the sliding board. To do this, you have to move the metal squares to your side of the board and to your opponent's side, based on the rules of the card game you're playing.

To solve this puzzle, you need to take the time to figure out what cards you have in your hand and how to position them to the best advantage. For example, you can use a card that has a special ability such as 'airborne' or 'loose tail' to get rid of a blocker and let another card score its points.

Alternatively, you can look at the board on which the tiles are placed and try to figure out what cards you have that can be moved into a position where they can score five points. For example, if you have a 'Bifurcation' card, you can move that to the left column and kill a blocker in front of a card on the right. This will allow a second card on the left column to score its points.

This method is a great way to solve sliding puzzles and can even help you figure out tricky puzzles in other games. The trick here is to break down the puzzle into smaller sub-problems and then solve them one at a time.

Start by moving all the tiles in the first row to the attack side of the table (the third row from the top). Then, move the other ordinary tile on the same column down and the lizard card on the left column down. This will give you a strong attack card in the second column, as well as an airborne blocker in the third column. Then, grab two more ant cards from the drawer and place them on your attack side.

This will create a situation where you can gain five points on the board, which is what you need to win. Once you've achieved this, click on the bell button on the left side of the board and check how many points you have.

Identify the arrows

One of the first puzzles you'll encounter in this intrepid adventurer's quest is a small white panel that slides open to reveal an origami fish. The puzzle is a bit more complex than you might think and will require a little imagination and trial and error to achieve.

The trick to solving this particular puzzle is to be sure to note down the arrows and the order they should be pressed. This isn't an official puzzle, but it works in the same way as it does in a standard slide-out puzzle.

Using the arrows in this fashion will yield some impressive results. Aside from the obvious directional arrows, you will also find vertical and horizontal paddings that you can apply to your slides. You can even change the color of the dots on a per-slide basis, which is an excellent way to make your slides look more interesting without going through the trouble of changing every slide.

The best part of the process is that you will earn yourself a shiny golden swivel ring as a reward. It's an adorably neat piece of kit that you can use to move your intrepid explorer around this fantastical world, or at least to the next room on your list.

Move the objects

A sliding thing is an object that moves back and forth on a slide. In this puzzle game, you have to arrange the cards so that they can slide over each other in a way that makes sense. This means thinking about how the rules will shake out and what sigils will interact with each other. For example, if there is a card blocking a Flying card, you need to move it so that the Flying sigil scores points on the other side of the board. This will require some thought and a bit of lateral thinking, but it is possible to do.

Red dashed lines that look like smart guides appear when you select an object on a slide to help you align it vertically or horizontally. Turn these on by selecting View > Guides and then clear them when you’re done.

Collect the objects

A Sliding Thing is a free mobile puzzle game where your goal is to make the objects slide into their correct place. Often, the objects are hidden behind blocks that you need to figure out how to get around. The trick is to anticipate how the rules will shake out. For example, if there are cards with the Flying sigil on one side of the board that are blocked by cards with the Mighty Leap sigil, you can move the Flying card back and forth on the slide to make it score points. Eventually, you'll get the point card and your sliding puzzle will be solved!
