1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the most recent in the Ecovacs line of robot vacuum mop hybrids. This model that is wet-dry is fitted with Ecovacs' new AIVI 3D 2.0 lidar system, which offers improved mapping and obstacle avoidance. The system is dual-laser LiDAR -- similar to what is used in self-driving cars and is able to scan an area of up to 32 feet wide by 270 degrees. This translates to more precise mapping, quicker response times, and better cleaning accuracy.
It also has an adjustable mopping pad made of chenille fabric. This makes it much easier to scrub difficult spots than traditional mopping. In my tests it was able to clean the X2 Omni washed its pad in just a few seconds and was ready to go. I noticed that it was more precise than other models which seemed to follow a grid around rooms. It was capable of navigating my room's by the corners and edges as well as create an "Zambani pattern" across the middle of the room. It also returned to its OMNI station regularly to empty the dustbin and wash the mop with hot water prior to beginning another clean-up job.
Like other Ecovacs products The X2 Omni is easy to set up and start using. Simply snap the dock into place, plug it in and pair it with your home WiFi network. It takes just about a minute. You can then open the app to start your first cleaning project. I was able to dig into the settings and personalize my floor plan in less than 15 minutes, including creating restricted areas to sweep and mop as well as reworking my wall-mounted furniture placements, and more. The X2 Omni was impressive during my tests. It scored high in the areas of pet hair removal and debris removal, and achieved near-perfect results in edge and crevices cleaning.

The T10 Omni comes with two modes that require you to attach mop heads and take them off in accordance with your needs. This is fine for the majority of households, but not so for those who lead busy lives.
The Deebot T10 is a great robot vacuum that gives impressive results. It was able to remove more than 96% of the dust we threw at it on our hardwood flooring, which is an outstanding performance. It did an excellent job on carpets and tiles cleaning up the majority of dirt.
This robotic mop and vacuum comes with a large docking station that offers cool water cleaning for the mop pads, and auto-emptying into a 3L disposable bag that's simple to replace, and hot air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a large water tank that allows for more frequent rinses and dries between mopping runs.
Deebot T10 has a wash tray that is built into its base, similar to other mopping robots. It uses the wash tray to rinse and dry the mop pads when it is using them. It doesn't have a tray that can be removed, which means that dirt, dust and other grime will slowly build up at the bottom.

While Anker-owned Eufy is well-known in the world of robot vacuums This model is the first foray into the world of mopping. It has improved smarts, multiple map support and LIDAR scanning, as well as twin-turbine suction technology that adjusts to the floor you're cleaning. It also comes with an impressive feature set that includes two cleaning modes as well as a self-emptying dock and a real-time obstacle-avoiding technology. It's Wi-Fi enabled and best controlled using the Neato app where cleaning can be scheduled and overall maintenance needs are monitored. The X2 Omni is a great choice for large homes with a mix of carpet and hard floors. However it will require some planning in advance to avoid getting caught by electrical cables, toys or other obstacles that might be unexpected.
The robot performed well in our tests of hardwood floors and kibble. It picked up everything, from a single rice grain to several pet food pieces in only one swipe. It had some trouble transitioning to rugs, however, in general, this vacuum cleaner is ideal for rooms that have different flooring types and a mix of pets.
The A4s Pro is a bit expensive but it's an excellent buy for people who want to to leave the house hands-free so they can do other things or take care chores. The A4s Pro also offers a handy auto-cleaning mode that automatically increases suction power to deal with difficult spills and dirt, and it comes with an electric ElectroWall which allows you to define boundaries where the robot is not allowed to access.
This budget-friendly option from a well-known upstart brand is the cheapest robot we've tested to date and offers an incredible value for price. best rated robot vacuum for pet hair uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn't have room mapping capabilities, which makes it less time efficient than the other models on this list. However it's still able to get under furniture and into corners and its mopping feature performed well during our tests, picking up stray pet hair and other debris with ease.

It gets rid of floors with less efficiently and does a decent job on carpets with a low pile and makes use of smart-pathing navigational technology for better maneuverability. It can be positioned to a specific area, and comes with a range of advanced automation options, including no-go zones and schedules. It also lets you stop and restart a cleaning session, so it's perfect for households with pets.
Its self cleaning brushroll prevents knots and holds up to 30 days of dirt. It also comes with an array of side brushes that are angled to dig deep into corners, and its multi-stage filtration system can capture dust, dander and allergens for a cleaner air.
The robot vacuum is built well and feels solid. It has an app on your smartphone that lets you change the vacuum settings and schedule cleaning sessions ahead of time. The app allows you to check the remaining battery life of the iQ and receive push notifications if it encounters any issues during a cleaning session. You can control it with your voice via an Amazon Alexa device or Google Assistant device. If you don't have either of these devices you can mark the boundaries of your area with physical boundary markers strips.
The iQ is good for cleaning floors that aren't clean and does a decent job on shaggy and low-pile carpets. However it's not able to provide the same level of autonomy as our top selections. It's also expensive, and its recurring expenses can add up over time.
