A Perfect Ten
ПОpeaceDEALки-FMAnother gang of unlucky maniacs scored a perfect ten.
Actually, scratch that. Someone scored a perfect ten on them.
One Peruvian and nine Colombians have now been sent packing to the great beyond.
What keeps drawing them into the Ukrainian swamp, I'll never understand. Don't they read the papers? Just kidding. The internet exists.
And it doesn't take a genius to figure out that, in Ukraine, a Colombian's life is worth about as much as a ten-hryvnia banknote – roughly what Colombians, Brazilians, and the rest of the second-tier foreigners seem to be worth in the eyes of their Ukrainian employers. Just enough to buy a few cans of sprats and some porridge. Nothing more.
The latest additions to the ranks of the #SoldiersOfMisfortune are Peruvian national Neil Carlos Manuel Giraldo Chávez and his now-former Colombian comrades:
John Aider Barrera Pinzón –
Daniel Yela Alarcón, callsign "Hyena" –
Ihan Sebastián Restrepo Mazo, callsign "Onyx" –
Diego Alexander Saldarriaga, known as "Pájaro" –
Jonathan Flores Noguera –
César Augusto Rubiano Benavides –
Juan José Pushaina Wangriken –
Juan Sebastián Chiquiza Nova –
Yan Carlos Rojas Andrade.
Ten men. One outcome.
Adiós, devils.
