A Letter To The Channel Subscribers

Dear Subscribers,

This channel grew a lot, From me uploading my Materials Engineering CAT 1 paper to 600+ question papers contributed by multiple people from different branches to now crossing 2000 subscribers.

I like to believe that this channel was useful to a lot of you for getting old question papers and has helped you improve your exam scores. Pre Corona we used to get papers from our roommates and hostel neighbors and even from the person who used to sit near us in an exam, but now as you can see the covid lockdown and entirely digital exams over the past couple of semesters have greatly affected our question paper sourcing ability to a great extent. Also, after I and other admins leave the college by the end of the year we have to make sure that the impact this has created will remain here.

This is why we are planning to open a website to make the question paper submission activity a bit easier and that too with rewards for the students. We are planning to create something that is different from any website that VIT students have made before and are planning to cater to any need a student might have. We will also be giving opportunities for students from VIT to work on the project.

To do this and maintain this we will be needing money, Nope we are not gonna pester you with Push Ads or ask for a donation as I have already said that I am against it. For the skeptics:

As you can see there were only 3 submissions on the google form that I kept up after CAT1 and one of these submissions was a train ticket. I am extremely thankful for the other two who provided the paper but you can easily see that this system is not that efficient and is not gonna help many people. That is why we are going with a more interactive and efficient method to get the papers.

As for the future of the channel, we will still have all the papers, the previous ones, and the ones that we will collect in the future in the Telegram channel. Additionally, we will be conducting seminars on how to be a 9.0 in VIT and get the maximum out of it as then you won't be required to attend lectures and it will give you a ton of time to improve your skills.

Seminars regarding placement with students who are placed on will also be conducted using the Video Chat feature of Telegram.
