Newbridge is a small tourist village within the Central West of NSW that welcomes visitors and campers. Newbridge was founded as a gold mining town, the Post Office opening on 1 February 1856. Newbridge village developed around the railway line and station which has been built in 1876. Newbridge is often a popular camping and fishing location with campsites available across the river. A point of pride to the town, the city have kept the dwelling beautifully maintained, and Newbridge has won several awards for starters of the finest presented stations inside the state.

Things to do in Newbridge of manufactured festivities will probably be the lighting and burning with the Wickerman for the large bonfire at 5pm. People are encouraged to buy small Wickermen earlier, write their problems around the tag and later on throw them about the fire to get them burnt away!
