Buenos Aires is a giant crowded metropolis, 3m inhabitants, very cosmopolitan and filled with cultural and sports activities events. It’s the home of the Tango and the well-known “parillas” (steakhouses ) however here you may as well discover Indian, French, Vietnamese, Lebanese, Thai, Scandinavian, Mexican, Brazilian, Peruvian, Armenian or American food.

Buenos Aires by no means sleeps! Restaurants open at 9pm, bars at midnight and clubs at 2am so you can dance till the sun comes up!

What have been you doing earlier than becoming a member of OTGS and the way did you hear about the corporate? When did you join?

I used to be creating WP websites for clients and companies with a partner. For certainly one of our jobs my companion purchased a WPML licence and she received an email inviting her to apply. Luckily she forwarded the invitation to me :) I joined the WPML Support workforce in April 2015.

I’m sure you face many tough challenges on daily basis, but what would you say balances these?

I just like the challenges. Each day you have to figure out one thing new, you are a detective looking for clues to catch the bug. The main problem is not to burn out. Also, it’s very important not to neglect that you are coping with folks, and you can also make or break their day.

What I like most is the temper of the staff. Everybody is always keen to assist and cheering each other on so we will enjoy working “alone”.

So how does a typical day go for you?

After that I kind: “Good morning!!!” within the chat group :)

Check my queue and get my “mate”. (Argentina’s nationwide drink made from steeped yerba mate leaves).

Then I start replying tickets and taking new ones.

When the workload permits I spend some time digging deeper on attention-grabbing points, bettering my workflow or on another activity (i.e. co-organizing La Plata WordPress meetup or doing this interview :p)

Have you given any thought as to what the long run could hold for you?
