A Cheat Sheet For The Ultimate For Buggy 2 In 1
Buggy 2 in 1 - Which Type is Right For You?
A buggy 2 in 1 offers you the flexibility to go from urban strolling to offroading, and a load of other options that make life with a young'un much more enjoyable! What type of buggy should you pick?
Modular seats are separate from the frame and offer instant apprehension to parent or forward face your child. Most of them recline too.
Full Size
Our go(tm) inline(r) version of buggy 2 in 1 is ideal for babies starting from day dot, with infinite recline levels for naps & a full lie flat bed right out of the box. The seat is cushioned and is in the ideal position to evenly distribute weight and keep a steady centre of gravity, allowing you to bounce off any kerb. It folds easily and can be tucked away in your car boot. When your kids want to ride their way it can easily be converted to a smooth go (tm) single.
Umbrella
There are a variety of umbrella buggy 2 in 1 models available. They tend to be smaller and lighter than the rest of our line when folded. Some of our favorite models include the Delta Children LX Side by Side and the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. Both are stylish and sleek and offer some of our most storage space. They also come with reclined seats and leg rests. They're missing a few features that we would consider essential in a stroller that is full size.
3-Wheel
A 3-wheeler is the ideal choice for all-terrain adventures, especially in offroad conditions. They are usually larger than a full size buggy and have larger tyres too - offering more grip, handling & stability for those rough rides. They are often able to change direction at a single click and are extremely easy to steer with just one hand, but are super lightweight and agile.
The beauty of a 3-wheel buggy is that they can be used from the time of birth (if you are using an adapter for car seats) or when your kid is getting older and doesn't have to use a car seat no longer. They are perfect for those quick trips out and about town, or if are looking for something that can take on more of the rough stuff on your walks.
They can be a little heavier than an umbrella buggie however, this is often down to the fact that they come with more features and are designed for more rugged uses - so they'll take some more abuse. They can often also be folded with the seat on unlike umbrella buggies, making them an ideal choice for those who need to fold it down in a hurry or if you want your children to sleep for in the middle of the day while out and around.
Fabric slings sit comfortably inside the frame as opposed to over it like modulars do - this instantly delivers a much lower centre of gravity as well as better weight distribution. This makes it easier to push and lighter to kerb-pop (no need to apply force to raise the nose off a small kerb). It also means that your child will experience a more pleasant ride.
Duet(tm), the Red Dot Award winning all-terrain rescuer, is among our most loved. It is modular right from the beginning, with endless seating options for twins and siblings. It also has a truly epic look with its melange and texturous fabrics. You could also choose voyager(tm), the only inline buggy that is two-in-one and offers modularity, plus numerous options. It's built on the renowned sport(tm platform).
4-Wheel
Choosing the right buggy can be a big decision. It's a good idea to choose one that will be easy to use, but you also need to consider your budget. You can pick from a variety of options to find the perfect buggy for you and your family. Some models are specifically designed for children. Some models have a parental remote control, while others have an adjustable seat and mp3 player. Some models come with an extremely long-lasting battery, which means you can take your children for long walks.
