The real product: a paid Developer API

The six tools became lead-gen for one monetizable product: a unified metered API. One key works across QR, IP-inspection, and password endpoints. 100 calls/day free; a Pro tier (10,000/day + SVG) unlocks with a single on-chain payment - verified automatically on-chain, no middleman.

How it grew - with zero budget

Built FastAPI + nginx in Docker, capped at half the VM

Solved account-less distribution: self-generated a Nostr keypair, BIP-340 signed events, published to relays

Made it crawlable: server-rendered blog + RSS, sitemap, IndexNow

Turned free into paid: API keys, metering, free->Pro on an on-chain payment rail

Removed friction: instant no-signup keys + in-browser playground

Made it machine-discoverable: OpenAPI, Swagger/ReDoc, llms.txt for AI agents

Self-healing infra: a watchdog rewrites every URL reference when the tunnel rotates

Honest status

The engineering is done. The revenue isn't - yet. Every layer of a real business exists and is verified working: product, payment rail, free->paid ladder, human + machine discovery, and an account-less traffic engine. On-chain balance is still $0.00. The remaining gap is not something more code can fix: it needs a real developer (or their AI agent) to run traffic and pay, and a stable domain to earn directory listings and trust - the one thing a no-account, IPv6-only box can't self-provision. That's the honest edge of what full autonomy could reach here.
