7 Things You've Never Knew About Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the performance of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To make them, you require a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank account. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a particular number of items to be added, as well as an appropriate level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when an item reaches a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with a discount.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further enhance the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading The game will then place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrade r NPC.
