Concealed Weapon Slot

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots rapidly fill up, leading to the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are Full" message that prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are removed or space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. Since many of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the globe, it could take a while to reach the most inventory slots available in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit into your concealed slot for gear or weapon and retrieve them later.

These pickups are useful when your task requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon with you that could cause suspicion. You can only hide one item per game at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC adds new contracts to security and asset protection to the agency. Contact video slots at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Then, head to the mission marker and spot a group upon arrival.
