The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is quite compact. The primary selling point of the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tested that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not free of faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need an automated vacuum that can do it all.

The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
