7. Jesus in Media
Bogdan Georgievich LisitsaAfter the Kingdom of the Bosporus, Jesus arrived in Media Minor (Media Atropatena), in the northwest of modern Iran. Here was one of the religious centers of Persia, legends about the activities of the founder of Zoroastrianism Zarathushtra began to be associated with it. According to some legends, the city of Urmia was considered the birthplace of the prophet Zarathushtra. Zes was one of the three great temples of fire of the Zoroastrians Adur-Gushnasp (fortification Tekhte-Suleiman). It was considered one of the three main Zoroastrian temples, moreover, the greatest of them, since it belonged to the royal family and the class of warriors, while the other two, Adur-Farnbag in Fars and Adur-Burzsnmikh in Khorasan, belonged respectively to the class of magicians and the class of artisans and farmers. It was after the arrival of Jesus here at the beginning of our era that this region acquired a special religious significance.
The Medes proclaimed Jesus their king under the name Artabanus. When King Artaban left to rule in Parthia, he left his son Vardan to rule in Media. Philostratus calls Vardanus a Mede.
Sarmatians
Sarmatians – an ancient people, consisting of nomadic tribes, from the first century AD inhabiting the steppe zone of Eurasia from the Danube to the Aral Sea. Diodorus Siculus reports on the migration of Sauromatians from Media to the Tanais River. The name Sarmaty comes from the phrase "Sarah Mother".
Sarmatians = Sarmat = Sarah Mother
After some time, Sarah, the daughter of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, arrived in Media. The Medes joyfully received Sarah, as they remembered well and had the highest opinion of her father, Jesus Christ. The Medes chose her as their queen, and after that Sarah led the resettlement of her people in the Northern Black Sea region. This is how the Sarmatians appeared. An important feature of the Sarmatians was the traditionally high position of women in their society. This tradition was introduced by Queen Sarah, the daughter of another great woman, Mary Magdalene, the wife of Jesus Christ. The Sarmatian kings derived their genealogy from Sarah, the daughter of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene.
The Yazygs are one of the tribes of the Sarmatians. The name "Yazyg" comes from the name Jesus / Esus.
