You spend more time riding your fixed gear, than fixing your ride. You can set your fixie up as a single speed, or flip that rear wheel, and show off your whip skid skills. When you purchase our Fixie, your rear wheel lets you ride your bike as a single speed or a fixed gear. Riding your bike as a fixed gear allows you to have full control over the rear wheel, letting you pull off awesome skids, tricks and even riding backwards. You lose the ability to coast the bike, so you are constantly pedaling. Now what about single speed? That is how our bikes are set up outta the box. So no matter which style you want to ride you have front and rear brakes to slow you down. I was upset and disappointed that it came like this: Warning to everybody who is still riding their bike. I received my bike in August and today the saddle gave way. It was a pretty scary moment as I was on my commute to work and the saddle just snapped. The screw connecting the saddle to the seat post broke. Luckily i only suffered bruises on my hands and legs as i fell off the bike when it snapped. I am very fortunate to be not traveling on the road at that time. Pretty disappointed with the durability of the bike as I have only purchased it for 3months! I am not too sure how the screw could snap under my weight pounds. Price range is about right for pretty good quality. It took no time to put the bike together and necessary tools were provided. Already recommended to friends! If you are still unsure of which size is best for you we always recommend that you go to your local bike shop and get fitted.
