5 common excuses that hold you from doodle art

5 common excuses that hold you from doodle art

Doodle-Lessons

1. But I have no time for that.

You do not have to sit on a Doodle for hours! I need only part 5 minutes when it gets really tight. I doodle mostly in the evening before I go to bed. Over the day, I'm already thinking about what I could draw, so I do not have to think about it forever. You just want it, then it goes! :) On the weekend, it may be greater doodle with more time involved. By the way, you can also doodle in a break. Just scribble little doodle in the calendar book - and already, the daily doodle dose is done.

2. But I do not mind what I could draw.

There is inspiration everywhere! Take, for example, an object that is standing in your room and brings it. What did you have for dinner? DOODLES! Great inspiration places are also Tumblr, Pinterest, or Deviantart. Just click it - you will, for sure, find something there! Or you take a fixed topic. For example, only one face for one week. For a week, only round things. You can also look at the doodles of other people and try something of it. Be inspired! :)

3. But I can not draw.

Nonsense! Anyone can draw. Just keep the following in mind: your drawing does not have to correspond to reality. You really wanted to draw a cat, but she looks like a bear? What's wrong with that? It's not a photo but a drawing. Perfectionism is wrong here. Simply paint drafts! You notice something very quickly. And no one needs to see your sketchbook. You can paint it for yourself.

4. But I lose the motivation super fast.

It helped me, especially in the first month, that I doodled with a friend. Every evening we sent our doodles to WhatsApp and asked if it took longer at the other. ;) So, you could motivate each other and have remained automatically on the ball. Therefore: If you have a motivation problem, look for someone who co-motivates! (And if you do not have someone who is enthusiastic about drawing in your environment, I am available as a partner, haha!)

5. But I do not have any tools.

Honestly? You do not need expensive stuff. You do not need a fancy sketchbook, nor a costly brand watercolor box. But what you need is simply the desire to be a bit creative! I have drawn a month only with a simple ballpoint pen. And it does not have to be a special paper! Get creative with what you have. Have fun!
