5 Reasons Item Upgrade Is Actually A Positive Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. This allows you to swap the item for another similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted aren't rewarded.
Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. upgrade item to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grasping them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.
New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to obtain these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available to it. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this can cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value out of a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
