To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes the system an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their accounts.
