5 Item Upgrade Tips From The Professionals

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon, or rings. The item is replaced by another item of the same type however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories that include physical power, magical power and health. Home to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left in the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This helps to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. Once they are open they show a complete description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the requirements are met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in combat but don't want to strain their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are item upgrades to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied in addition to an appropriate amount for the equipment.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.

Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
