Miss Zilola

As the time passes i am feeling great changes as a teacher. I can undoubtedlay say that i have improved a lot since i started Teacher Training Course. First i realized that every single thing i am doing in the classroom has a mistake. But now i think i have managed to fix most of them.

This week has played an important role. In that vocabulary lesson, i had learnt how to present new words in a more effective and enjoyable way, particularly, after my own TP.

I like when our teacher Aziza says “If i were you, i would do …”

She never emphasisez any mistakes of ours and never threats us with those mistakes. Instead, in a very beautiful way, she shares with her own experiences saying that she would do something else. This shows how much she is engaged in teaching us

I want to thank to Unity family once more. May Allah be pleased with each of them.

Miss Teacher

Well, tıme flıes so fast. We have already finıshed the 4th week, and I got so many ınsıghts and tıps from thıs Teacher Training Course. I’m more than sure now, that I can stand out in my seminar lessons at university wıth good technıques and effectiveness.

Talkıng about the 4th week, ıt was not too difficult, but not too easy either. We had our vocabulary TP, and I found vocabulary lessons a bit tricky because, from what I understood, even one small wrong task or timing can make it feel more like a function or speaking lesson. Honestly, it’s still hard for me to see the difference between function and vocabulary lessons. I think there's a small detail I'm missing that is blocking me from differentiating them, but believe me, I'll figure it out very soon, I think I just need to observe more of both.

Besides the lessons, Im truly grateful to Aziza opa for always giving us a helping hand, patiently explaining things, and correcting our mistakes whıle gıvıng us clear explanation why something mıght not work. She shows us how small changes can make our lessons better and how it affects the students. She shares such useful ideas whenever I ask her for advıce about my lessons.

It feels a little sad that the course is coming to an end(, I stıll feel lıke theres a lot to learn here.
