Okay, some people may think this is very disturbing. I mean, the kids look like they're 10... there's this guy who has sex with the kid... and the three kids have a threesome together. Oh, and Pico and Chico watch Chico's sister masturbate. That's all I can say about that.
But I would recommend it for some disturbing thoughts!
Japan how can you make disgusting things.
Eating poisonous fish - blowfish called fugu.
Weird vending machines.
Gory game shows. (No offense to any fans)
Electric Solider Porygon.
Boku no Pico.
I'm not even going to explain. 3 little boys that have sex. Has so many disturbing features in it I'm not going to explain.
It's a hentai, yaoi shotacon anime and I highly suggest you don't watch it.
It's a disgrace even to other hentai animes! Who though it was a good idea to make this? Nothing against homosexuals, but this? Pedophilla! I wish this be banned!
My all time favourite anime, Higurashi tells a compelling story through the development of characters and the excessive use of gore. While the plot is confusing the first season, the second later goes on to explain just why time is looping and the answer is more disturbing than you could imagine. Every act of violence isn't without a purpose, which is the most horrifying part of the anime. The story is told through arcs which loop back through time, revealing key pieces of information in exciting, fresh ways each time. If you like mystery and gore, this anime is definitely for you.
Higurashi is a complex story with many ins and outs. If you can get your hands on KAI I suggest you watch it if you want just a generic kind of, explination. It tells us that the whole thing is in a loop and Rika the shrine maiden is stuck and trying to get out of the loop but things keep happening. I have a better review on my facebook if youd like to see. BalthazarDaevarius
It's damn confusing and I'll be really grateful if some explain me, who in this series is the killer because everybody is messed up by some drug. Anyway, some scenes are awesome!
This show is indeed confusing and disturbing but the second season is actually a very happy ending.
It's an amazing anime, but yes, I have to agree:
It's pretty disturbing, especially the death scenes.
And some of the characters are also pretty crazy, just the way they ACT.
Don't get me started on Number 35.
This is one of my favorite animes but has some sick incest that bothers me! Oh, and let's not forget myu's sick stepfather who basically molests her. If all of that we're taken out it would be 10/10 anime. But I have to give it 9/10.
It opened my mind and emotions. I believe that this is the best and most emotional anime ever made.
If you think about massages which Elfen Lied offers, you can learn a lot.
Elfen Lied is a great anime, but it's said to be the most disturbing of all. Many people were scarred for life from the infamous Dog Scene.
Whether you're a manga reader or anime watcher of this amazing work of art, we all know about the infamous ending to the Golden Age arc. When Guts was screaming and fighting off the horde of apostles as he was fighting for his life--it was so incredible and the context of his situation was so, so disturbing.
This work contains some of the most gruesome and visually disgusting scenes, period. It is also disturbing in it's themes, leaving the reader/watcher contemplating and absorbing what just happened.
The ending is one of the most disturbing moments I had in my life. if you watch this series just be prepared to leave something behind.
This anime is very disturbing. I've watched it only because my friend recommended it to me but after episode 6 or so, I was done. It freaked and grossed me out so much. I mean, the two girls are practically just trying to get the brother to make out with them the whole time. There was this one episode too where the boy was trapped in a storage closet with some random girl from school and she needed to use the restroom and pissed all over the boy. GROSS! After that, I just couldn't watch it anymore.
This was disturbing as hell. It's disgusting, to top it off they got open support from the parents. They aren't blood related, but growing up with someone all your life should make them feel like siblings, not your objects of fantasy. Moreover all the episodes have a lot of mature content. That's alright since it is 18+ but this felt like more of a bizarre Hentai ride rather than contain any proper plot. All the girls exhibit bizarre sexual symbolism and have little personality.
This is horrendous...it's the worst possible way to trivialise sibling relations, objectify women and put men in a bad light, and it shocks me how they think slapping boobs and panty shots everywhere can cover up its lack of a decent plot. Yes, it's not that far off from being as nauseating as Boku no Pico.
I actually enjoyed this anime and watched the whole thing plus all the OVA's... and I'm only 12.
Had a great ending but in between it's quite the stomach turner. I loved it the last episode is full of blood though.
One of my favorite. If you're looking for suspicion and love horror I would recommend this anime! It will keep you at the edge of your chair
This Anime is actually really good and captivating, but I guess it has its disturbing moments.
NONONO DOn't WATCH IT. It starts off happy and romantic but things slowly start to get worse and people show their true color. The end is EXTREMELY disturbing and I was in shock for about the whole day when I finished the anime. Yes it gets boring but if you wanna be shocked continue watching till the end. I am still shocked with this anime. While a perverted boy r@pes and only loves people when something s3xual pops up or he sees stuff like p@nties or b00bs. Those are just examples. AND THEN EPISODE 12, THE LAST EPISODE IS MESSED UP. I honestly should've listened to everyone who said do not watch it because its disturbing. I am now one f those people. DOn't watch it unless you wanna be messed up
Very Disturbing. The ending is so gory not to mention that it started out a romantic dramatic anime.
Uh, YEAH. I mean, they cut off his head and have sex with him. The girl literally cuts off his head because she can't have him >. >
Someone told me that it was your typical romance highscool anime, so I watched it... Didn't end so well... Let's just say this anime is a bit disturbing... :) Jokes aside, I really enjoyed this anime although that plot twist at the end is too unespected
this should be wayyy up there, way more disturbing than mirai nikki, it's disturbing all the way unlike School days and I'd say the gore and storyline tops Another, but I suppose that's debatable.
This is a disturbing anime but I really love it! The anime is gory, exactly how I like it! I would't recommend it if you have anxiety or get easily disturbed.Yami Shibai 7 is also a disturbing anime, you can watch it on 9anime.
This anime totally scared me to death. I rarely get scared but this anime is simply taken to a whole new level of gore and disturbance. If you are gonna watch this anime be prepared to not sleep for 3 nights (probably more).

I highly do not recommend this anime if you are paranoid or you get easily scared.
This was the one Anime (or cartoon) that I have ever found to be truly disturbing. Although it is great and I highly recommend it, think twice about watching it because no matter your age, you will be thoroughly disturbed by it.
How did nobody else write something on this one? Shame, shame!
Seriously speaking, now: NaTHaT is a criminally overlooked gem. As most who have seen it will tell you, it's themes are really heavy (the reason I even gave it a look was because I heard it was basically "Berserk-dark Isekai", though I personally feel that that's debatable), and the plot and setting are quite unique. It's worth a watch, despite the dub being "meh" at times. It's a harrowing but thoughtful experience, and I'm honestly disappointed it doesn't get mentioned more often.
What. I litteraly didn't know if I should cry or laugh. And omg, the torture scenes. I feel so bad, yet enjoyed it in a sick kinda way.
After watching the piercing scene, I could not stop crossing my legs.
This anime is emotional but as gory and bloody as hell! (I've only read tge manga adaption and 1.0,2.0
As much as I love this movie it definitely is very disturbing.
It's one of the best in the psychological thriller genre, and is a must watch for fans of darker anime!
I seen the movie. It was great but very disturbing
I love Hellsing! It's definitely not for children as it is very violent and has many disturbing scenes.
Theology, philosophy, reality, religion, presence, worth, drugs, the end of the world, suicide, drugs, life, death, society, this show is demented.
This anime is my god damn religion, and it has been since I was 12. It is so bloody that it's actually hilarious and although It's not really scary, it is disturbing and I definitely wouldn't recommend watching this if you have a weak stomach.
Nene's death is #1 on almost every "Brutal Anime Deaths" list. And it's true! That scene is impossible to watch without cringing
No just no don't watch this. Omg its like VERY messed up I am warning you. it WILL mess you up
Don't just don't watch this, couldn't sleep after watching this for days.
Obviously the worst anime of all time would make it on this list.
The only thing disturbing about Attack on Titan is that the live action movies sucked. Never make live-action adaptations of anime ever.
How can this be disturbing? The live action movie is showing soon! I'm so excited!
One of my favorite anime's but sometimes it's just flat out disturbing.
It was surprisingly disturbing but still a masterpiece of anime.
It's very gory so the gore scenes are censored because it was too graphic. It shows graphic mutilated corpses.
I love this anime and I kind of like the gory scenes in the anime.
This show... I like it, but it is messed up! A teddy bear (not really a teddy bear but you get the point) forcing a bunch of high schoolers to murder each other, and then executing the murderer if they're caught, and if they're not caught executing all the innocents? Somebody tell me how that's not disturbing! Yet I can't stop watching it, and I think many people get that feeling.
I think it's great the future arc anime is just a bit too gory and has the same system like the first anime but still good!
It made me start self harming again so that's pretty despair inducing
I love this anime and there are parts that are obviously disturbing. It's body horror. What's disturbing about Parasyte is that these parasitic aliens go into people's brains and take control of them. They can morph their bodies into anything like blades and they kill people.
Now, so far I have only watched the English subtitles of the first episode, and it is a very well done show, but from what I've seen it is pretty disturbing, such as the dog. Very beautiful show, very disturbing visuals.
I have read the manga before, and then I watched the anime. Its disturbing, but good. There is numerous scenes of gore, and just the fact that parasites go inside u and make your body Chang weird shapes. Very disgusting. Not for children at all! Its rated T.V. MA. Or 17+.
Favorite anime of all time. It has some messed up scenes but its just really well put together. Love it, definitely not for the faint of heart though.

For broader coverage of this topic, see Legality of child pornography.
Legal frameworks around fictional pornography depicting minors vary depending on country and nature of the material involved. Laws against production, distribution and consumption of child pornography generally separate images into three categories: real, pseudo, and virtual. Pseudo-photographic child pornography is produced by digitally manipulating non-sexual images of real children to create pornographic material. Virtual child pornography depicts purely-fictional characters (for example, lolicon manga). "Fictional pornography depicting minors", as covered in this article, includes these latter two categories, whose legalities vary by jurisdiction, and often differ with each other and with the legality of real child pornography.
Some analysts have argued whether or not cartoon pornography that depicts minors is a victimless crime.[1][2] Laws have been enacted to criminalize "obscene images of children, no matter how they are made", for inciting abuse. Currently, countries that have made it illegal to possess (as well as create and distribute) sexual images of fictional characters who are described as or appear to be under eighteen years old include New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.[3][original research?] The countries listed below exclude those that ban any form of pornography, and assume a ban on real child pornography by default.
All sexualized depictions of people under the age of 18 are illegal in Australia, and there is a "zero-tolerance" policy in place.[4]
In December 2008, a man from Sydney was convicted of possessing child pornography after sexually explicit pictures of child characters from The Simpsons were found on his computer. The NSW Supreme Court upheld a Local Court decision that the animated Simpsons characters "depicted", and thus "could be considered", real people.[5] Controversy arose over the perceived ban on small-breasted women in pornography after a South Australian court established that if a consenting adult in pornography were "reasonably" deemed to look under the age of consent, then they could be considered depictions of child pornography.[citation needed] Criteria described stated "small breasts" as one of few examples, leading to the outrage. Again, the classification law is not federal or nationwide and only applies to South Australia.[6]
Canadian laws addressing child pornography are set out in Part V of the Canadian Criminal Code, dealing with Sexual Offences, Public Morals and Disorderly Conduct: Offences Tending to Corrupt Morals. Section 163.1 of the Code, enacted in 1993, defines child pornography to include "a visual representation, whether or not it was made by electronic or mechanical means", that "shows a person who is or is depicted as being under the age of eighteen years and is engaged in or is depicted as engaged in explicit sexual activity", or "the dominant characteristic of which is the depiction, for a sexual purpose, of a sexual organ or the anal region of a person under the age of eighteen years".[7] The definitive Supreme Court of Canada decision, R. v. Sharpe, interprets the statute to include purely fictional material even when no real children were involved in its production.
There have been at least three major cases brought up against the possession of fictional pornography within the last two decades. In April 2010 visiting American citizen Ryan Matheson (aka Brandon X[8]) was arrested in Ottawa for bringing erotica based on Lyrical Nanoha.[9][10] By October 2011 he was charged with possession and importation of child pornography and faced a minimum of 1 year in prison.[11] The next case occurred in 2014 where a man from Nova Scotia was sentenced to 90 days after pleading guilty of possessing mostly anime images. Roy Franklyn Newcombe, 70, pleaded guilty to the charge after a NSCAD student found a USB thumb drive with sexually explicit images and videos at a computer lab in April 2014. There was no indication the images involved local people or had been manufactured by Newcombe. Most of the 20 images were anime, although a few appeared to be of real girls between five and 13 years old.[12] The most recent case occurred in Alberta when on February 19, 2015 the Canada Border Services Agency intercepted a parcel and arrested its recipient on March 27. Based on the box art of a sculpture being shipped to him, four charges were pressed: possession/distribution, mailing obscene matter and smuggling prohibited goods. These charges were withdrawn as part of a plea deal when the accused agreed to a peace bond.[13]
The possession, storing, fabrication or distribution of child pornography or any other kind of sexually explicit pedophile material is illegal under Ecuadorian law.[14]
Fictional child pornography is illegal in Estonia per article 178 of the Penal Code. This law does not apply to Estonian citizens who legally commit the offense abroad.[15]
Since a reform of the French penal code, introduced in 2013, producing or distributing drawings that represent a minor aged less than 15 years old is considered the same as producing real child pornography and is punishable by up to five years' imprisonment and a €75,000 fine, even if the drawings are not meant to be distributed.[16][17]
Virtual child pornography is illegal in Ireland per the Child Trafficking and Pornography Act of 1998 which includes "any visual representation".[18] The country has strict laws when it comes to child abuse material, even if it doesn’t contain any "real children".[19]
In New Zealand, the Films, Videos, and Publications Classification Act 1993 classifies a publication as "objectionable" if it "promotes or supports, or tends to promote or support, the exploitation of children, or young persons, or both, for sexual purposes". Making, distribution, import, or copying or possession of objectionable material for the purposes of distribution are offences punishable (in the case of an individual) by a fine of up to NZ$10,000 on strict liability, and ten years in prison if the offence is committed knowingly.[20]
In December 2004, the Office of Film and Literature Classification determined that Puni Puni Poemyβ€”which depicts nude children in sexual situations, though not usually thought of as pornographic by fansβ€”was objectionable under the Act and therefore illegal to publish in New Zealand. A subsequent appeal failed, and the series remains banned.[21]
In April 2013, Ronald Clark was jailed for possession of anime that depicts sex between elves, pixies, and other fantasy creatures.[22] It was ruled as obscene and he was jailed for three months following the trial.[23] Clark was previously convicted for indecently assaulting a teenage boy and his lawyer noted that ethical issues complicated the case.[23]
As of 2004, the Norwegian penal act criminalizes any depictions that "sexualize" children, even if it does not actually show sexual acts with children.[24] This could include any artificially produced material, including written text, drawn images, animation, manipulated images, an adult model with childish clothes, toys, or surroundings.[25]
The penal act has been applied to drawn images described as "hentai-images" in Agder Court of Appeal with the following remarks:
The drawings show children in various sexual positions and abuse situations. The Court of Appeal notes that such drawings are not as serious as films, or photographs
