Guess what? With age doesn’t always come wisdom. In this exclusive clip from the season premiere of “Trailer Park: Welcome to Myrtle Manor” (airing Thurs. Jan. 16 at 10:00 p.m. on TLC — right after “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”), party prep for a 4th of July shindig is temporarily derailed by a neighbor who thinks the gelatin shots taste great — and, despite warnings to go easy on them, gets hammered.
But that’s not the extent of the fun in this episode. When Cecil leaves on vacation and puts Becky in charge of Myrtle Manor for the summer, she’s immediately tested by another trailer park claiming to be the best in town. Jared discovers Chelsey is lying about her new job and decides to investigate what she’s really doing to pay the bills. Amanda organize the trailer park’s annual 4th of July party but things don’t go as planned.

It's difficult to write a review for this book. Looking at the pictures there are clever and adorable ideas for 3D squares. But the written instructions are faint and printing is very small. If you crochet using charts a lot of them are impossible to see. If you are skilled enough to look at the picture and figure out how to make it then this book will be fine. But if you are a beginner, unless you have excellent eyesight, I'm not sure this is the book for you. I received this yesterday and haven't decided whether or not I will keep it or return for refund.

But, the font looks like 5 or 6 when normal computer fonts are 9-11. Seriously, it looks half size.
I have excellent reading eye sight and I have to squint and strain to read the patterns.
That makes this book un-usuable. Most people will have a big problem with the tiny font.
This should be 1 star or 0 stars because it is unusable. Very sad. It should not have went to publishing this way. There is plenty of white space on each page to use a normal font size. Why didn't they?

This in my opinion is a classic fear based decision made by the writer & printer. Afraid their designed might be copied ,they chose to print the designs in a way they are almost unreadable/usable.

This could have been a really nice book, BUT......... they really missed the mark.I just don't understand how they could have published a book with such a terrible layout. The patterns are so small and hard to read, it doesn't really explain the stitches, There is a guide in the back of the book for stitches but it would be nice if it was with the pattern, having to constantly flip to the back of the book is a bit annoying. The patterns are MEH....

Got this as a gift for my wife, as she had started learning to crochet. She loves this book and had made some really awesome projects, blows me away sometimes, how she went from not knowing anything, to cranking out crafts that I would purchase if I saw them in a store, and I am a frugal man so this is saying a lot for the quality of projects she's produced, great book for folks wanting to make some really awesome knots.

So many bad reviews stating that the print is too small, “unreadable, how did this make it through editing.” It’s not that bad and definitely worth getting the book. Yes, the print is small, but if it wasn’t, you’d be reading patterns that were pages long. There’s a lot of info packed in here and they’ve formatted it this way so each pattern fits in a single page. If you know how to read a crochet pattern and can read smaller print, you’ll get through this just fine. The book is laid out very tidily and the patterns are adorable. Go for it.

The squares look really fun and different to make, but the print is too small and faint. As the book uses American terminology, the charts would have been the way to work the patterns for me, but again the charts are so faint and small, it's difficult to distinguish what the symbols for the stitches are - even with reading glasses. Also, it would be nice if publishers could print a UK version - Shelley Husband has books in both US and UK terminology. Sadly I'll be sending this one back.

Lovely book, only criticism the print of the patterns is rather small and please note it is given in American gauges ( there is a page with the UK gauges at the front to compare)

I have given 4 stars though as I found an error on a pattern... my first pattern. Says 30 sc but should be 34. Image shows 34 too. So I was very confused and I am concerned there will be more errors like this. Also the sorbets were bent on the book which is annoying. Luckily it’s not a gift.

I love this book, but with reservations. There are loads of squares to choose from, and as someone who is teaching herself to crochet, I find that the instructions are reasonably clear-haven't learned to read charts yet. However even as a beginner I have found mistakes and omissions in the flower pattern that I am currently working on-it wasn't until I looked at my square and realised that it wasn't a square that I had to go back and work out where the wrong instruction was. That said, it is still a lovely book and I shall enjoy trying out some more of the squares.

This is a brilliant book, with lots of lovely squares to make. Don't be put off by some of the negative reviews regarding print size. I didn't have any problems reading the patterns, and I have to wear glasses. Each square fits onto one page, which is great when crocheting as you don't need to keep turning the pages over. There seem to be lots of complaints about the book being written in US terms, but that shouldn't put you off either. It's very easy to convert to UK terms in your head as you work if you need too. It really is an essential skill to master as so many patterns are written in US terms. Other people have commented that not all the squares come out the same size. That's true if you follow the patterns exactly as written, but I very easily made some slight alterations (using a different size hook or different stitch) and was able to produce squares which were all the same size. I was able to join them very easily to make a baby blanket as shown in the photos. This book probably isn't ideal if you've only just started to crochet, but if you are reasonably experienced then you can produce some beautiful items from it.
