Bogdan Georgievich Lisitsa

Saint Sarah is the daughter of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene, the patroness of the gypsy people. She is also called Sara la Kali / Sara e Kali (“Black Sarah”. The center of her veneration is Sainte-Marie-de-la-Mer in the south of France, a place of pilgrimage for gypsies in the Camargue. Since ancient times, Saint Sarah was considered a charitable woman, she always helped people .

Sarra (fr. Sarras) is a municipality in France, in the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region (Ardèche department). This name comes from the name of Saint Sarah, she lived here for some time. After the death of her mother, she became the leader of her tribe, close associates of Mary Magdalene and their children. She knew the secrets given to her by her mother and saw visions from God.

Sara-la-Kali has a connection with the three Hindu goddesses – Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali – the goddesses of knowledge, wealth and power, symbolizing the trinity of femininity. This is explained by the fact that Ancient India was well known to Jesus Christ and His entourage, He traveled to India and lived there for some time.

Every year on May 24, on the day of St. Sarah, many pilgrims arrive at the center of her veneration.

Saraswati

Saraswati is a great goddess in Indian mythology. There are two Saraswati goddesses with the same name. Old Saraswati is mentioned in the Rig Veda.

New Saraswati is Saint Sarah, daughter of Jesus Christ and Mary Magdalene. The name Saraswati means "Sara the Swan", the "swati" part is a variation of the name Jesus / Swan. In iconography, Saraswati is often depicted sitting on a white swan. She is the goddess of eloquence, wisdom, knowledge, art and beauty. The connection with eloquence, speaking, points to her as a swan, which is associated with the concept of a Swan / bard / poet in Britain and other ancient peoples.

Saraswati

Saraswati is depicted as a beautiful woman dressed in white, as the name Sarah means white, and over time also came to mean golden/red. She sits on a lotus pedestal in a beautiful pose with one leg hanging down and the other under her.

She is dressed strictly and does not wear jewelry and gold, as she prefers spiritual values to material ones. She is depicted with four hands holding:

holy book, symbol of science

rosary of white pearls, a symbol of spirituality

bowl with sacred water, a symbol of purification

musical instrument, art symbol.

Saraswati is the goddess of literature, music and arts, speech, self-expression.

Mother Saraswati wears a crown on her head, which represents her power and strength.

In some reliefs, her hands are folded in the abhaya mudra (gesture of protection) or varada mudra (gesture of blessing).
