I think the most interesting/curious thing about this is the language they used regarding its features. Saying "new quest ranks" and "new locales" rather than just saying g-rank and an ice map could just be pr talk, but it could also imply more content than we might think.
Also the fact that they're calling it iceborne rather than the typical g/ultimate leads me to wonder if they're planning on having multiple major expansions like this one.
G-rank typically includes multiple ranks. G1/2/3 etc.

I like how they dunk on Ash for the entire playthrough, but then have Blue be even more extremist than Ash ever was. The Arrival DLC will be interesting to see.
You know, this is actually pretty funny because if you go back and look, you'll see hours upon hours of me doing the opposite, specifically trying as hard as possible to not poison the well on her, all while the chat screamed for blood. I wanted Reggie to form his own opinion and even Devils advocated for her extensively, eventually cracking some jokes once he made up his mind. But I was ridiculously reserved on everything to do with her because of exact this. But none of that registered because the audience well was poisoned decades ago. Everything short of aggressively defending her would have been seen as dunking.

My personal problem with "Super forgiveness" is that usually there is no progress steps on the characters being forgiven between evil and forgiven.
I want at least a Vegeta- or Zuko-level process (quality doesn't have to be at either level) where when they help the main team the first few times, they are treated like the enemy they have been up until recently.
I'm fine with forgiveness if there is at least some effort to it.
All kidding aside Zuko is the 11/10 example of how to do it right. Not all stories have the time to show that minutia, but even a few select moments to show the mental journey back is better than 99% of the coin flip face turns.
You can argue with Pat's insanity and that's why people get annoyed with him.

(Because the B and BF cell size might be a British Commonwealth thing. Mind you, I did obtain one of my 2BF torches from Argentina of all places, so I'm not sure about that...)

And as for that battery you remember, do you mean the flat-pack 4.5V battery with the 3 "E" cells (I think 126 was its English designation) or do you mean the 1.5V brick (4F in parallel) so beloved for starting model aircraft engines? I'll post pictures of both later.

That's interesting.
Most of my 2BF torches are Made in England (the rest were made in Hong Kong under licence)
This would seem to indicate they were Made in England for export but not the domestic market, perhaps due to the "Export or Die" policy to deal with the sheet metal shortage.

Or in the Lafayette and Allied catalogs. (drool)

Note: I'm 55 years old, and don't remember Eveready Carbon-Zinc cells,
sizes " D ", " C ", " AA ", or " AAA "
EVER being White in color ! (in the USA, anyway)

Now you mention it, I do believe it was called a 126 battery. It was flat and rectangular and had flat metal springs on top as contacts. Apparently you can still buy alkaline versions of them today for use in head lamps.
