Job Overview

Wargaming invites 2D Artist to join the team of World of Warships projects. We are seeking a professional who is passionate about creating promotional art that will be inspiring to players, and who is willing to learn and share their knowledge with the team.

2D Art Team creates visual assets for in-game, marketing, and corporate use. It's a great opportunity to showcase your creativity, deliver your artwork to players, collaborate with a talented team, and enhance your skills in a friendly environment.

What will you do?

• Creating high-fidelity promotional materials
• Creating illustrations in different styles
• Object visualization with post-processing
• Creating diverse sketches and transfer to colleagues for further finalization

Who are we looking for?

• Fluent hand drawing in Adobe Photoshop using a graphics tablet
• Understanding of basic principles of composition, lighting, ability to convey the shape of objects and the atmosphere of the scene
• Experience in Matte Painting
• Experience in 3D software (Blender)
• Ability to work in a given style
• Portfolio
• Ability to work in an office
• English at the intermediate level or higher

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Art degree
• Experience in modelling, texturing, sculpting
• Passion for computer games or experience playing on consoles
• Fluency in Russian

Work mode

Onsite during probation period, after the probation work mode is defined as hybrid (3 days from office, and 2 days from home)
