It's frustrating the heck out of me because i look way better now than when I was in my 20's yet get no attention online and I think that's because my age is listed. So is it looks or is it age? I don't know. It's rough out there. How do I meet single men over 30 that also want women over 30?
How many people do you actually meet that are dating 20 year olds, because I have met very very few people that actually fall into this category (unless you also mean to include 30 year olds dating 28-29 year olds).
For me I meet people through stuff I do (circus and dance for me) and through friends. Age is mostly not a factor.

Neither. People in their 30s are still in their first marriages. There are just fewer of them around.

I got divorced when I was 31. I remember thinking in those days that women in their 30s that were never married must have had something wrong with them. Interesting how you see it the exact opposite.
However I was wrong. Tons of people are just unlucky in finding someone suitable to marry. Or sometimes they marry the wrong person or for the wrong reasons.
I was divorced 8 years ago. We didn't really have the social media stuff and dating apps back then. So I just went into bars alone or met friends of friends. I did ok. I never really dated 20 year olds tho. I felt like I was over that young and party phase of my life already.
Point is there's guys out there willing to date you. And if you're as pretty as you say you are you'd be the first girl I'd speak to in a bar. But I'd automatically have been written off for being divorced. 8 years removed from my ex wife and I don't feel like I have any baggage.

Might just be a question of location. Where I live and where I am from, easily 75-85 percent of 30-years old women were never married, probably more if you count only single women so no one would think of them as odd or wrong. Being a young divorcee sticks out more because it's uncommon, but I agree that you shouldn't write someone out just for that. It doesn't tell you much about the person.

Try a few different latin dance schools. These results in a lot of social engagements which have a lot of one on one time with people, with no pressure and plenty of opportunities to get to know people.
I date women my age, most I have met on Tinder. I have also met a few women at coffee shops. The key is to not be on my phone or them on theirs. A book, magazine, or newspaper are much more inviting to conversation. A phone could be anything from pintrest to Reddit to a significant other, friend dying of cancer, who knows, it's personal and sort of an "I dont want to talk" signal in today's world. A good ole magazine though is an invitation.
Edit: For clarity, I have been both the one being hit on and one doing the hitting when not on the phone. I have never hit on a woman looking at her phone or been hit on while looking at my phone.
